I've one nothing really and have only been at it 3 weeks but the way I see it is that if I were to comp for 6 months at the rate I am now then win a holiday in Tahiti it would have paid off!
I definately think one big win would justify the effot. Or even a lot of nice little ones. Good luck0 -
Yes I downloaded it. Lots of people on here use it. Link please someone (as I don't want to give the wrong thing) hehe. Once its set up with all your details, u can either click once and it fills it all in, or choose for it to do it automatically when the page is opened
Good luck everyone! I didn't think I was going to win anything but am so pleased with how it's turned out

I look at my new comping efforts as an experiment for the next 6-12 months and I'll keep going even if I win jack for about that time..people who do stocks and shares or proper betting or ebaying have to put a lot to get returns, it's like a part time job.
So keep at it I say!0 -
I'd say this is a definite hobby for me, I do it because I like it
It's so exciting when you get a phone call, a WEM (winning email) or a LWE (long white envelope) advising you of a win - it's a rush if a prize just turns up unannounced too
I think I enter around 100 a day so if this was a clinical analysis then it probably isn't worth my time, but I don't look at it that wayI think I've been really lucky with the wins I have enjoyed thanks to this forum. I've also sat here with tears of laughter rolling down my face from some of the banter which goes on & felt sad to the bottom of my heart for some of the lows which have been shared.
I'm in this for the community & the rush of the winSad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out0 -
I always click the thanks button so I know I have entered a comp but sometimes there are duplicate posts and I worry about entering the same comp twice, so I decided a few months ago to keep a log of the ones I enter.:o
I have a spreadsheet that I have open along side my comping window and it only takes a few seconds to enter details. That way I can search or sort them by website, end date, prize etc! Scarily it also records how many I enter each month, about 800! :eek:WINS 2009 so far £212
WINS 2008 £823
WINS 2007 £14110 -
Velvet Glove, thanks for that I am guessing it something to do with my security as it is already down as enabled, does your amazingly techy bf know how i could solve that?I would thank you...but when i press thanks the page jumps to the top!!0

Download and use Roboform as well - it's a godsend, as it fills out most fields efficiently. What it misses I catch with a little word processed window with my details in - drag and drop these into the holes in the form, or - occasionally, when the form won't allow you to drag and drop - copy and paste. C & P is also useful for email entries, too.Al Mac Appreciation Society No. 188

Roboform is so much better than Autofill, and very easy to download and use. And yes, it is my new hobby too - I enjoy the process, as someone said in this forum recently.Al Mac Appreciation Society No. 188

I enter at least 100 comps a day and I have been comping since March 07 and I have been extremely lucky, my first win was within a week and it was a family holiday to India!
I do go through dry spells though, but it just makes you think that it will be your turn again soon!
I say keep at itBack from a 6 YEAR break from comping :T Wins since October 2019: Emmerdale Studio Tour, CheekyTrip Goody Bag, Stormtrooper Cereal Bowl, 4 books signed by the author, 3 night break in Suffolk worth over £650!, another book, £100 Deichmann Voucher, £50 One4All Voucher, Spy kids Kit, 90s Concert Tix and a Dash Cam!Hopefully more to come!!
