My thanks button is very temperamental, I usually click away like mad and then have to refresh the page before it goes away

I honestly dont know whats going on, i cant start new paragrapsh either, if i press enter and try and make it separate out it just ignores hat and posts it all as one long sentance!!

Finch7 - my BF (techy guru type :rolleyes: ) tells me that your inability to click the 'Thanks' button coupled with your lack of being able to post paragraphs points to something being wrong with your javascript - either browser or security software related.

Your browser may be disallowing the javascript on this forum which would mean that the AJAX which handles the Thanks button and the Javascript that parses your typing into HTML cannot run.

The fix depends on which browser you are using but if you are using:

IE - try Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level button > scroll down to the Scripting section & under Active Scripting select 'enable'. Then OK these changes, close & reopen your browser window.

Firefox - try Tools > Options > Content > tick to enable Javascript. Then OK these changes, close & reopen your browser window.


If this doesn't work then it may not be your browser but your security software that is the culprit.

I'm having the same problem too! I'm clicking the thanks button about 4 times before it actually disappears! The site has been very slow aswell for the past few days. :wall:

The first and only competition Id entered from this forum won me £200, which, as you might imagine, prompted me to enter as many as possible. However, since then I've not won anything..

What kind of return does everybody see? (ie I enter abut 100 a week and I've won x x x x x x)

I enter ay least 100 per day during the week and about 30-40 on saturday and sunday,

i have done this for about 3 months and had 1 win of 2 theatre tickets.

but the more you enter the more you win, and alot of comps have end dates of a couple of months so it will prop take a while for the wins to filter through.

AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU GOT TO BE IN IT TO WIN IT!!!:D
