Competitions Discussion Thread Part 3

I only enter comps off of MSE, most of the ones posted per day (except not for prizes I don't want). And I've won all the prizes in my sig since 1st Sep 07. I think it is great for 2months! Also enjoy doing it anyway. Roboform helped immensely to enter the comps much quicker.0

I only win about 1 in 200/300 competitions entered I think. It's really not much. Unless you actually enjoy the addiction then I don't think it's worth it for reward only.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0

You've done well over a few months.
Roboform? I use Autocomplete is that the same?0 -

I think so, sounds like it
It's just a wee software/program thing that can enter your details on a comp page automatically (once saved) and saves soo much typing. Winning the £200 on Metro is great though

Well done on the car btw
Thanks
It's been worth it for me but I enjoy the process. I've been very lucky too. You could have entered 10 times the comps I've entered and not have won a car so if you weren't enjoying the hobby then it would feel like a hard slog for rare reward.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0 -

That's good - can it be downloaded?
I was chuffed with the £200. Very happy. Especially for not really doing anything to win it

I've one nothing really and have only been at it 3 weeks but the way I see it is that if I were to comp for 6 months at the rate I am now then win a holiday in Tahiti it would have paid off!0

Thanks

True. I think I must enjoy it or I'd have given in by now. I come on here every weekday and enter all the new comps for the things I want. Generally trips, money, tech stuff..0 -
