Sorry to sound very nerdy - but I record every entry - and I enter between 80-100 a day. How? By use of an Excel spreadsheet. I record by date entry, prize and URL. It is then easy me to filter by URL, date or prize to check if I have already entered a comp. I also record wins against each individual i receive back.

I can also keep track of how many I enter per day, month, Wins per number of entries, etc. :o But then, IT is my Job....

  • I used to do the same as BabyGiant.. It also lets you know which comps are expiring on which sites, & therefore which sites are likely to have new comps :)

I gave up recording a while ago though as it took up too much time.

Funnily enough I just discovered roboform two days ago, I posted it here but it got moved to the discussion section. www.roboform.com
  • I'd say this is a definite hobby for me, I do it because I like it :)
    :)

It's the same for me, I do it cos I like it, it's a thrill of the chase thing for me. I don't enter that many, probably about 10-20 a day, & I've only been doing that many for the last couple of months. I used to spend more time freebie hunting, but I prefer comping, with freebies you know (most of the time) you'll get it, but with comping, there's a bit more mystique, IYSWIM. :)
:):D Tightwad. And proud of it! :D:)

It's back!!! :j Well done Martin and tech bods!

I've missed comping sooo much (probably too much), and it's made me realise how much I appreciate this site.
