I am a bit confused about how you can see who you have thanked
sorry to be thick:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I only record them by way of thanking the posters here. When I enter a comp from anywhere other than here, I search for it here. If it's not posted here, I post it, that way I know I've entered it, & if it is posted here, I open the thread & thank the poster.
Not in a book, no, thats far too time consuming!Tightwad. And proud of it!

Same here
I record what I've won - keep copies of the email, comp slip or letter that arrived to tell me in a folder. (In plastic pockets in date order - yes I have OCD
)
I couldn't possibly record all the comps I enter as I enter around 100 a day, would eat into precious comping time
The only thing I record with comp entries is if I had to sign up to a newsletter to enter - when is the comp drawn so I can safely unsubscribe if I'm not interested in the content. So that is an ongoing list where I delete things as they come to an end.
You just need to decide what works for you SophikaSad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out0 -

i dont keep a record of what i enter, only what i win. It would take up far too much of my time if i wrote down every competition i entered. i barely get enough time to keep up with the comps as it is!Weight Loss - 102lb0

A 100 a day! I am humbled Velvet Glove, a good day for me is 25. Guess it'll be a long time til my wins roll in, doh!0

[FONT="]When I look at a competition I decide first if I want to enter/win that prize if I don't then I click the 'Thanks' button so I know I've already reviewed the post & also to thank the OP for sharing the competition.
If I decide to enter I will also click the 'Thanks' button to thank the OP but also (& quite importantly) as an indication to me that I've already entered. Some competitions will void your entries if you enter more than once.
To see who you have thanked, all you need to do is open the thread & check the first post if you are logged in & you don't see the 'Thanks' button then you have thanked it - if you want to double check then click the 'Show all' to see the names of those that have thanked
Edit - something weird happened to my text in this postsorry!
Hope this helps!

It would take me far too long to record all the comps that I enter, the way that I know is by the thanks button not being there.
I do record my wins, at the end of the month there is usually a post asking what we have won for the monthWhat we see depends mainly on what we look for

I only record them by clicking the 'thanks' button. I enter loads per day with use of roboform so could no way keep a handwritten record.
I also have a 'comp folder' where i am collecting copies of winning emails/letters etc and a note and date of all the prizes I have won in the back. Just gives me a sense of pride to see the collection growing hehe. Good luck everyone!0
