Gee I hope your barracking for Australia to win Vicki. :D I'd say our team would have the best toned, brownest legs. :p

I can't argue with the brownest legs, AussieLass, but my favourite team for having the best toned legs are the Irish. :D Not that I've done extensive research on the matter, you understand. Thankfully, Leicester have got a few Irish blokes playing today.......... ;)

How awful for Pen-Pin thats is truely disgusting I hope the person responsible is throughley ashamed of themselves disgusting little cretin.

Sorry to all those who couldnt sleep I was up ALL NIGHT but only as babe is so sickly she has hacking cough, terrible cold and I have it too,I ended up keeping her in bed with me so I could keep eye on her properly being deaf doesnt fill me with confidence with her in next room as i have to physically keep lifting monitor to my ear so stops my sleep anyway lol. Have got the Olbas oil (for kids) on hot water on window sill and the window open to let in some fresh air not much else to do really!

Not much planned today am going to try and ignore all the usual stuff and chill out.

DD 7 is making most of it and chilling on sofa watching her TV. Hubby on nights so in bed.

Hope all have a better day than me

Just popped back on to wish PENPIN and her sister a lovely time together. Keep posting PEN - we really do love to hear from you and good luck at the hospital. You're one of the bravest ladies I 'know'.

Hi Y'all, Bullying of any kind gets right up my goat so it is soo heart warming to see everyone standing up for PP. Enjoy your stay at your sisters (I only hope she knows how to cook Shepherd's Pie or it could be ...next stop...Jeremy Kyle LOL)

Mrs MATH is off domonstrating at a card shop near you today so I've stuffed the car with roller blades & bikes and am taking the MATHLETTS off to a local county park to burn a skipload of enery out off them and the same in calories off me in readyness for take-out in front of X FActor and Ant/Dec tonight. I shall return pert and snake hipped and shall remain so until about 8pm.;)

    Enjoy ya weekend

Just a few thoughts for you PennyP (and your sister too). Enjoy your break. Of course DH and DD will be fine on their own.

Only now really catching up with yesterday's and today's threads and I am so sad that someone could stoop so low.

Chin chin and love and hugs

    Hello everyone,

hope your mornings are going as well as they can be :) We are planning to go out to one of my favourite gift & garden centres today, so just waiting until the tumble drier is finished. Made bacon sodas for breakfast, so well set up for the day, and am on my second cuppa just now :D

Not much to report - just really wanted to say I'm glad that PP isn't going to stop posting about her health: I may not post much or say much about it, but I do skim the threads most days and I always look out to see if you're doing okay PP, so I'm glad the nasty PM person isn't going to put you off. *hugs* for you and take care of yourself.

twink - let me know if you want those patterns we were looking at last week printed off and I'll post them up to you - and don't let that brother of mine 'talk' your ears off :rotfl:

*hugs* to all, take or leave as you please.....
  • Afternoon, all! No time to post earlier - house full of 14yo girls (well 4 actually, but they do take up a lot of room ;) ).

DS's footie team won 14-0 :T :T :T Was a great result as we have a lot of *history* with their coach, who would have his CAB certificate rescinded if there was enough prooof for what he's done with children.

Off to dig some parsnips, to make a curried apple and parsnip soup.

Dannahaz, I have ciabatta sponge on the go - first time I've got myself organised enough to start bread off with 24 hours notice :D

PenPin - enjoy your time away. I have 2 sisters, so know what you mean about the love/hate relationship ;)

Aussie - you were talking about my *chicken fetish*. That's just a front for my real love - pigs :T :T :T DH and I are looking to go on a weekend pig-keeping course :j

Tru - how are your smallholding plans coming on? Where are you planning to go?

    Shez - enjoy the wedding!

Have a great weekend, Penny. x
