Goals today are all about the house. Fridge is full but not sure anything in it is actually edible or able to make a full meal. Kids are eating us out of house and home atm so need to sort out what we've got and plan ahead more. Also need to eat a lot healthier as we've been eating for comfort too much. Not sure any of us have managed 1 a day never mind 5 a day recently, the only healthy one is the pet rabbit!
Car is also full of stuff and needs a really good clean out as does my desk.
Then tomorrow is a catch up on paperwork day and plan ahead financially and shuffle more money around.
Love some sunshine to help with the motivation too. Might squeeze in a healthy walk at some point.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Cleared fridge out then started on the rest of the kitchen, decluttered a lot of stuff we never, ever use and treated us to a couple of new baking things that were rusty! Menu plan and food shop being done tomorrow now as we had food in for tea anyway. Did have a nosey round new M&S near us and came out with a 30p box of mixed fruit and a bargain 6p aubergine - literally never cooked with aubergine so that will be today's foray into new foods, I tried avocado last week but won't be trying it again!
Up early today and have already done 15 mins in each room downstairs so feel like we are tidy enough to cope for the week ahead. Shuffled some money around so the 3monthfund is now overfull which is no bad thing at all. If I pay off the bank loan it saves me just £4 so going to carry on a slight overpay on regular payments and it will be gone by the time I finish my contract.
Want to start looking at the garden and try to grow more this year as we've plenty of room and it might help us be a bit healthier too. Am a bit of a plant killer though so need to read up on easy things to grow that can survive almost total neglect.:rotfl: Also need to check out the blanket squares as I reckon there are more than 33 lurking in the house but I need to put them all together in one place.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Paid off PPI company what we owed them and had an extra £700 left, I'd forgotten how much they said they'd take and had overestimated just in case. Have shoved it into the 3monthfund which is now the 4monthfund and heading towards the 5monthfund! Hopefully if I can get a post for September then we won't have to use much of it, so far there's not much around or it's all for newly qualified teachers so not even worth me applying, still keeping fingers crossed though.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Woop, another £1k in from PPI today, that's it now but has been fun watching it come in! This bit is staying in the current account as we have gutters, blinds, ridge tiles and a broken shower door to fix so it can pay for/towards those! Managed to get myself a chest infection on the day that prescription prices go up so that's a pain but at least I can take things easy for a few days on doctor's orders.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Still plodding on. Antibiotics are wiping me out so am going into work as late as I can each day and leaving by 5pm at latest then early nights too. Not got much time to spend either so just getting by on what we have in. The boy managed to wreck his coat and calculator so that's been the only major expense of the week.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
