Money in money out kind of day today. Hubby's car died over the weekend so £190 for a new starter motor, courts paid him for jury service £195 so £5 up then the boy comes home wearing only one serviceable shoe as he appears to have shredded the other. Bought a cheap pair as he is capable of shredding expensive ones as much as cheap ones so £12 down overall on the day.
Nowt else interesting to report, just watching the cash go in and out today was enough!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

No more unexpected spends thankfully. Need to do a good clear out of the fridge today (yuck) really trying to eat healthier but sugary stuff is still my downfall. Started back walking and running a bit to try and balance out my eating but have been getting headaches as a result so feeling a bit grumpy with it all. More job applications being done so still keeping fingers crossed. Spends for bank holiday are minimal as the kids aren't bothered and hubby is working all day (double pay - woohoo!)Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Not been on in ages so just updated monies at the bottom. Lovely to see the debts still going down. No news on the job front yet but a few more applications going in this week. Hoping to pay off the bank loan from PPI money this month.
Payday is now after all the big bills - mortgage, gas/leccy, debts - so we've done well not to overspend this month. Have worked out that May pay (23rd) will cover June's bills, June pay will cover July and should get a couple of weeks pay from July to help towards August bills. That means if I can get a post that starts 1st September we'll only use some of the savings we've stashed up so we'll still have a lump that we can either use against the Tesco loan or into the mortgage. A permanent post would also mean the chance to sort out the mortgage onto more favourable terms, so got everything crossed. Have managed to keep about £300 in the account so we'll be able to use that for my car insurance so that will be sorted for another year too.
Really boring post but more babysteps towards being debt free from £24,922.08 down to £12,050.42 which is amazing really.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
