also says that you should start checking/saving the Unaddressed items the Friday before the survey starts in case some are delivered early - and that's not in the Kantar guidance (unless it has been added in the last 12 months since I last got on UM).

I'm doing unaddressed for the first time - been on the panel for years - and it does now say to keep things from the week before

I've participated in the unaddressed surveys for some years and, as far as I can recall, the instructions were always to save items from the (presumably whole) week before, not just from the Friday.

I've just downloaded the Mailagents app and done the first quiz - had to redo one question about not being sure about delivery date for an item but got the rest right first time.  As someone said, not sure anyone who has not participated via Kantar will be able to get most of them right first time - fortunately it allows retakes.  Not completely happy about the obvious answer to the question regarding the schedule being strictly adhered to - at the moment I go near a postbox with a late collection every day, that may not be the case come next year.  Hopefully they will develop some flexibility once the survey actually gets underway - many people only live near postboxes with 9am/7am collections, not a snowball in hell's chance I am going out to post a letter before 7am on a Saturday.
Wouldn't you just post it late on Friday? Same difference surely?

In nearly 6 months on the panel I have only been asked once to post before the last collection. They usually ask me to post on a  certain day usually before 12 noon. When I posted late the day before I lost a star.
The time of the collection is immaterial, it is the time and day of posting that matters.

I think you're taking my comment a bit too literally. Post at 11pm physically and tell them you posted as 6:30am in your example.

That would work but you might be marked down as there would be no gps verification. No sure what Spectos require though.

With Kantar if I have a Saturday item I just post it at whatever time I happen to go out - not sure whether this will be acceptable with Spectos or not.

    From the old thread....
It’s hard to tell whether the new survey will be more or less rewarding than it is at present. It looks like we will receive points worth 35p for each item we receive and log and points worth 35p for each batch of items we send (rather than per item). It looks like the presentation packs of stamps might be gone but they do say we should receive 1st class stamps from Royal Mail for every month we are on the panel. Doesn’t say how many, but if it’s Royal Mail sending them, it might be reasonable to assume that the number will remain the same.
I had a quick look through the videos.   35p per item in and out?  Well that could be up to 10 a week so £14 a month.  But you can't claim until you have £25 worth.  And nothing to say what vouchers you can exchange for.

Nor does it tell you if Correctly Delivered and Unaddressed are going to transfer to Spectos as well.

    Yep - lots of questions....

The FAQ says they give us 12x 1st and 4x large first each month. Don't know if they just copy pasted from kanter tns or what. But it would be a nice bonus from kanter tns if this is true.

I do it for the stamps, if it's for the money I probably wouldnt bother. Not for 35p an item.

Look at the FAQ section 4.1

Makes you wonder why the contract was moved from kanter to mailagents and they've upped the rewards at the same time.  kanter must have been charging them a lot. Or mailagents are going to make us work with 4-5 items a week perhaps?

I got the impression from the Spectos FAQs that the stamps are actually funded by RM so it's no change. If the Presentation Packs are not added in, it's actually a reduction. Many people don't use the stamps so the money is significant. I've currently racked up 300 points just for doing the new panellist tests so I'll see how long it takes me to get to the 2500 cash out point.
I need to think of something new here...

If you only get 35p per visit to a PO for a parcel drop instead of £2 there will be a lot of complaints.
