I suppose it’s hoping for too much that Spectos will allow people to opt out of posting parcels.

Received an invite letter but waiting for the official switch over notification from Kantar instead as this may have a different set up for existing panellists.

Well when I signed up there were two links - one for new panellists and one for existing panellists.  I assumed the existing panellists meant those of us who work for Kantar, given Spectos have not actually taken over the survey yet.  So, I clicked that link and have now fully completed signup.

If you only get 35p per visit to a PO for a parcel drop instead of £2 there will be a lot of complaints.
Surely if people are not happy or unwilling to carry out the tasks for the reward levels Spectos are offering they simply should not sign up?

Why would you sign up for something which you are not happy doing?

The reward/reimbursement level has been clearly set out, if anybody is unhappy with it simply don't sign up..... If you willingly sign up and carry out the tasks you don't really have cause to complain.

Too early to be specific. People have complained about the parcels with Kantar. Spectos will not get all of the Kantar panellists as some say they will not use an app as they have no smartphone. People will vote with their feet.

Whilst I can see where the confusion has come from, in theory nobody was an "existing panellist" with Spectos, everybody was/is a panellist for Kantar TNS and Spectos are now starting a new panel, recruiting panellists.

It really is about time people stop looking at Kantar TNS and Spectos as one and the same and/or expecting Spectos to do the same thing. Kantar TNS's time is coming to an end and Spectos, a completely separate company are taking over with their own ways of doing things, rewards and panel... there is no requirement to join Spectos if anybody doesn't like their ways/doesn't wish to do so.

That is peoples own choice, Spectos are effectively inviting people to join their new panel, with their way of working and rewards, anybody who does not wish to for any reason (rewards, app/smartphone requirement, way of working, parcels or any other reason) can simply choose not to sign up.
