I've had the Goodbye For Now letter which still says I should hear from them in 4 - 5 months about rejoining the panel.
Got a presentation pack of FA Cup stamps.
I got that FA Cup when my last stint ended and am about to restart - hope I don’t get another one!

  • I've sent a mesage to Kantar quoting the Royal Mail announcement and asking these questions. Haven't mentioned my sources but will report back if they reply!

Have received a very quick and detailled reply!

Kantar will continue to run the Royal Mail measurement until 27th March 2023, at which point Spectos will take over the responsibility for the measurement.

I can confirm that all of our panellists will be given the opportunity to continue supporting the measurement with Spectos. While we will not be automatically transferring your details across to Spectos, we will be contacting our panellists as their participation period with Kantar ends with details of how to sign up for the Spectos measurement, making the transition as easy as possible for panellists. This communication will happen at different times for different panellists in order to minimise disruption whilst the transition occurs and allow Spectos time to get up and running.

Indeed, some panellists have already begun their transition to Spectos. For these panellists, they are in the process of finishing their final Kantar tasks and returning any RFIDs to us. They have been provided with a recruitment link to submit their contact details to Spectos who will recruit them onto a preliminary panel, which will run in parallel to the Kantar measurement and grow in size during the transition period.

What this means is that panellists should sit tight, carry on with your valuable contribution to the Royal Mail measurement, and wait for further communications which we will issue at the right time for each panellist.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your time on the measurement, and hope you decide to continue with Spectos when you receive your communication. For the moment, please continue any tasks or surveys you’re involved in as normal.

    Many thanks

    Michael

I've just finished on the panel so will wait to see if I'm sent a link or if I'm going to be doing a final stint with Kantar.
I’ve just finished within the last month and I wasn’t sent a link. Perhaps I finished up just slightly before they started sending it out as ordinarily, I might have expected to get back on the panel before they cease their activities (don’t know if I will or not).

I hope the survey staff are not adversely affected by the switch to Spectos after operating the survey for so long and can be redeployed by Kantar if necessary.

That was a March stamp issue - so you should get something more recent.  Pride maybe?  I'm quietly hoping I'll get Transformers when I restart in September.
I need to think of something new here...

I got the FA Cup ones last week. I had to message them as they did not include any stamps in my 1st posting pack

On the 23rd I got a message entitled Some missing data. When the post came later I spotted that the post mark was the 19th. The next day I got a letter also dated the 19th. They were sent from different parts of the country. Do you think the P.O. are delaying them deliberately?

TUPE (Transfer of Undertaking Protection of Employment) legislation might apply.  But geographic location might make it unrealistic to transfer staff.

True, and I see Spectos have opened a new office on Birmingham for which they have been recruiting..

Yesterday I received October's reward stamps plus the FA cup presentation set plus another set of 1st class and large letter stamps as this should be the last posting pack of my current stint.

The enclosed letter said that I should expect to hear from them in the next 4-5 months, but failed to mention or include a link to Spectos.
