Nothing more annoying though if just got back from the postbox posting a survey item then get a message to send back certain instock RFIDs
    Hence another trip .
Just post them next time you go to or are passing the postbox, I never make a special trip to return RFIDs.
    Neither do I,

I've just started again on the panel, and was slightly concerned expecting cubes/post bags to sort out.  However, pleased to see just one envelope to send next week.  I received incentives of FA presentation stamps, plus 12 first-class stamps, and 4 large letter stamps.  The total value just over £33.
A very good start, which I hope continues.
Next week I am starting recording unaddressed mail and correctly delivered.
It's been quiet lately, but looks like I'm going to be busy.

I receive an RFID return envelope with every other posting pack and have done for years, when my supplies become excessive or my stint has ended I fold a stack up and post them in a returns envelope.

I’m never in any rush to return RFIDs. I finished up 3 weeks ago and still have 6 RFIDs sitting here. I like to make sure that I’ve definitely received everything before finally tidying everything up, although, doesn’t always work as I received a parcel 3 months after finishing up last time.

Never had one to post in my first time on the panel. I don't think my local post office would be happy anyway. The even have a notice up saying they don't take anything over 2kg. My local parcel postbox in not in my postcode area so that is not an option.
Isn’t that the point though? To challenge postal services who “aren’t happy” about offering services they are obliged to do under their contract.
I don't know how you would post on the survey that the post office rejected the parcel.

  • After 600 pages of discussion on the Royal Mail Monitoring and Postal Panel thread, it seems like the time has come for a new thread to be created.  Not because any of the discussion there is redundant (far from it) but because the contract for running the survey will shortly be passing from Kantar to Spectos (in conjunction with YouGov).

As such, it seems to make sense to have a new thread, which has links to sign up for the new Spectos panel, rather than the old (seemingly shortly to be decommissioned) Kantar panel.

If you would like to sign up for the new Spectos panel, just click on the link below and follow the instructions. There’s some additional information on the website about the requirements and rewards, albeit some questions still remain unanswered - hopefully time will provide answers to these and will be provided in the discussion which follows.

Just signed up. Got a welcome email and apparently there's a letter on it's way to me.

  • Further to the above, it’s not clear whether we should register as an existing panellist or a new panellist. I tried a new panellist and was told, after answering all the questions, that I wasn’t eligible. So I tried an existing panellist and I’ve since received an email saying I will receive a welcome letter in a few days. I’ll keep everyone updated if I ever receive anything.

Went in as existing panellist. I wonder how they will transition us over from Kantar. I doubt we can be on both at the same time.
