    New message:

Starting on 7th April you will be able to record if a received item hasn’t got an R-number or if it has been sent with an incorrect R-number (so the system won’t accept it). All you need to do is select the option “I have received an item without an R-number.” This means you’ll now be able to complete data entry for the item and register its RFID to your RFID Stock for your future use.

A quick way to confirm if the R-number is wrong is to check the postcode on the R-number label – if it’s not your postcode, it’s been sent to you in error.

For the first week or so this option will only be available on our website. You’ll soon be able to data enter this information on the app, and we’ll let you know when.

When sending your survey items, please take care always to enclose the correct R-number. This is a key identifier which (when the receiver records it) enables us to confirm that you sent the item.

I have about £250.00 worth to swop. Can I enclose two forms as over £200. I will send by special delivery but am I correct they will not refund this amount. I looked at the bulk form but I think I need to be a business to use that one. Any help greatly appreciated.

I sent mine off with one form and I had just over £400 worth. I just presumed as long as it was more than £200 that was what to do. Hope I got it right.

Use the Bulk Form for over £200 - you don't need to be a business.. The bit about "Key Account Number" is optional if you are a dealer with an account.

Send it by Special Delivery and you will get that cost refunded in 2nd class stamps

If you used the Bulk Form - that's right.   If you sent the regular form (Under £200)  with more than £200 then the T&C don't say specifically what they will do in that case other than reserving the right to decline your order because the form is inaccurate.

Watching this whole system arrive bit by bit I suspect RM didn't even plan for that sort of circumstance.

They've updated both the under £200 and over £200 forms in the last day or 2.

The over £200 does ask for COMPANY NAME and marked as MANDATORY

IF you use the UNDER £200 you won't get refunded the cost of postage if sent special delivery for example because that is the sender's choice to do so given it is  FREEPOST already.

I sent mine off today and used Special delivery. However I had an issue at the local post office because they said a post code had to be included. So in the end they got me to write the Farringdon Road address on it with that post code.

    Thanks q...

Are they just making this up as they go along?  Or reacting to questions from people who have thought about it more than they did...

I suppose the easy solution is to make up a company name...  they're not glikely to check.  Or split it as CRISPIANNE3 is thinking.
I need to think of something new here...
