I have a mental image of pooch qualifying as behaving by p*ssing against said post box long enough for you to use the app 😂

Had a query today.  An item I booked in was last tracked at my delivery office at 0730 Wed 9th and I logged it on Thursday 10th.  Looks like our postie had Wednesday off and her walk was not covered.  That is obviously the feedback that is needed - local office sitting on mail for 24 hrs.

I had a query today as the sender wrote the address on an envelope when it should have been a label, not had that one before.

Probably one of those mistakes when preparation was done in a hurry?

Almost as good as mine where i walked 3/4 of the way to the post box before realising I'd forgotten to address the item i had to send at all 🤦‍♀️ returned home and had to fish the address details out of the bin. Not my finest   moment on the panel.

There is so much paraphernaliaconnected with this survey if you lead a busy life that mistakes can easily happen.   I try to address the envelopes andput  the smarts in as soon as the material arrives in the post but often you can,t allocate smarts because the particular items for mailing have not yet appeared on the system.  Then I get busy and suddenly realise I haven,t put a smart in the prepared envelope so my routine is disrupted.  I usually write the date, time to post and "smart added" on the inside flap of the envelope as a progress check,& keep all, pending envelopes for mailing in a letter rack in date order. I also write the details of which smart was added against each item on the mailing sheet as a check in case of a future query.

iin unddressed mail I also try to write receipt state on material received but have a lot od trouble with the app on my iPad not always responding.  I don,t know abiut others but find this is not the most efficient system in the world!

@Primrose I'm usually quite good at pre prepping items when i get my mailing pack, have a little system where i do the addresses, add smarts but don't seal if i can't add them as item prepared,  highlight posting dates / times on the sheet and put away any extra labels,  the a4 envelope and plastic bags which i use or recycle, so no idea how on earth i missed the address this time. I must've got distracted. It was the fact I clearly hadn't even looked at the item before i left the house that tickled me too 🤦‍♀️
