I took a mail bag to my local post office and they didn't really know what to do with it and the woman kept saying, 'We don't usually take those!'
Had the same problem was in the post office for nearly an hour  as the woman didn't know what to do with it as she couldn't get it to scan at one point she asked me to come back another time she eventually phoned someone and she had been trying to scan the manifest as personal instead of business mail.
Had one of these to take every week for the last few weeks beginning to think its not worth it for the small amount paid plus they said this would be easier it most certainly isn't the only plus side is no longer having to pay for the postage myself.
It's about time that they employed people that can READ !
    TOP of the MANIFEST
(below only the RM LOGO, the 2 Manifest and Order numbers and associated Barcode)
    POST OFFICE ACCEPTANCE INSTRUCTIONS
From Horizon home screen select 'BUSINESS SUITE' 'PPI Mail Acceptance'
Scan the Sales Order barcode and enter the number of bags accepted
For further information, refer to Horizon Help.

It's not exactly difficult or time consuming

Just restarted my 6 month stint on the main survey.
Received one of those gigantic mail bags  :(
The local post office only has a few metres of storage space (It's a local village shop). They have one postal bag ready for all 1st class and one for all 2nd class. There would barely be room to put another sack in there. And there's absolutely no way they will know how to process it (They huff and puff enough when I try to part pay my own parcels using 1st/2nd class stamps!)
I don't think it's a very wise move from Kantar in my opinion. I won't be doing the large sacks and up to them to remove me from the survey; not worth the above hassle for the 'rewards'.
    Sorry for the rant :D
Totally agree, which is why, after many years on the survey, I left, just after starting a new stint.
    and
I had to send query after query to the get the points for the aborted pinpoint trial.

Does anyone know where the safe place is that I've put the cable ties they sent for the mail bag I'm supposed to be sending tomorrow? Good job I managed to find a spare one in my bits box! :D
Have you asked the person you have cable tied up in the cellar?  :D
Don't tell Kantar I've used them for something other than the survey! :D

Has anyone had this before? I’ve got an item to post this afternoon and my posting schedule says ‘Add Smart’ but online it says 'Please don't add a RFID', which is a bit strange! Should I follow the instructions online and not add a Smart? I've emailed them but haven't heard back yet. Thanks!
Just to follow up on this, I had a reply and it confirmed what @libra10 said: 'Always follow what you find on your online account, even if it disagrees with your printed sending plan. The online version is more up to date and if there is a difference it is usually because something changed after we had already sent you the pack with the printed plan.'

I saw that I had a message when I logged in. On checking it I found that it was some changes to the T&C's. Mostly minor things but one thing is interesting:
    • added a new term: you’ll lose access to your panellist and rewards account 60 days after you permanently stop your participation in our panels (this excludes rest periods or pauses of participation)
I'm not sure what sort of impact that will have but with the number of panellists here thinking of leaving over various changes it could be interesting.
