  • Forgot to mention(how could I forget something as important as that?:rotfl:) my PPI refund cheque has cleared and £1468 is now in my easy-access savings account:j:j:j. I don't want to tie my money up long-term even though it would gain more interest as I'll be needing it for debt-repayments pretty soon;).

I'm not adding this to the August total as I like to see how I do just from the 'normal' methods each month but I've added it to my 2017 running total. I feel it's justified to include it seeing as I had to work hard to get the claim upheld;)

Thanks, Talia:T. Well done on the voucher.

Ebay has gone totally dead for me, my few listed items have had no interest whatsoever but it's hardly surprising as even I wouldn't want to buy them:rotfl:

I'm not listing anything else until I get another Free Final Fees offer but these come around so rarely that it looks like being a long wait:(. I've got lots of items photographed or scanned though so I'm all ready to pounce once I get the offer;).

Good luck with your plan to list:beer:. I don't envy you, I absolutely hate doing it:o

This month's profits from the regular sources have been pretty dire for me and if I hadn't had that profitable car boot sale on Sunday I wouldn't be very happy with results when we're already into week 2. Can't see anything else on the horizon either as I'm not car booting this weekend and have run out of any books that WBB, Ziffit etc want:(
  • Hope everyone is well today. Just popping on to add £1.50 from shopmium and £3.50 from eBay. I'm also hoping to list some more today but not much is selling. Fingers crossed it gets better!x

Well done on what you've made so far.

Good luck with your eBay listings:beer: You've got more get-up-and-go about doing it than I have:o

Is it just me or does anyone else feel that they spend an inordinate amount of time online just finding out about things?. I mean things like researching prices when selling things, gathering facts on all sorts of topics, just trying to find out about things in general.

I've always had an insatiable thirst for information (usually totally useless information:o) but I certainly didn't spend as many waking hours in the library searching for it in pre-internet days as I do now on my laptop. Maybe not even having to get out of my chair to do it has something to do with it, plus the fact that everything anyone could ever want to know is readily and instantly available online;).

Yes and particularly when I buy things. I seem to spend hours researching the best product and reviews etc, only to buy the thing I was originally planning to buy anyway!

Been a bit quiet on here since joining, sorry - haven't been well and as a result I mostly been sleeping.
On the plus side, I have met my £1 a day target....

Am I allowed to increase my personal target to £2 a day - just for the extra challenge (I don't want to get complacent!).
We're more than happy for you to make as much as you can. I have upped your target - good luck :D

I know exactly what you mean - I could easily waste spend all day on the internet just browsing around :rotfl:

But, on the other hand, I have definitely benefited in lots of ways, not just financially but things like free language sites, recipes, exercises etc. I am totally in the habit now of saying 'I'll just look it up on the lappy'.
