Good luck with your eBay listings:beer: You've got more get-up-and-go about doing it than I have:o
Thank you!
I'm desperate to make some room in the house. There seems to be so much stuff and I'm starting to find it a bit stressful! I've been lurking on the Kondo thread but it's so much harder when it's things that belong to the kids! And the extra cash would be nice too!x0 -
Good day for me, especially on the back of yesterday. Feeling much more positive, and hopefully tomorrow's car news doesn't set me back.
I use an app on my iPhone called 'OneDox', it's relatively new I think, but I love it already. They're still building more functionality into it, but it basically allows you to track various household accounts all in one place. So I have my car MOT/tax dates, my mobile phone contracts, my gas/elec contracts, and my tv/broadband contracts and it sends you notifications when you're nearing renewal dates. You can link it to Dropbox (if you use it) so it automatically downloads all your statements for you which is great, because if you're anything like me and you switch suppliers regularly to get better deals, I often forget to download my statements. Most importantly though, for things like your gas/elec contracts, it monitors usage/bills and compares the market to find you cheaper deals. It flagged up that I could save £177 a year on my current EDF 'Blue+Fixed Price February 2018' tariff. I logged onto my EDF account and switched to a similar tariff but fixed until October 2018, with no exit fees. Indeed, reducing my projected spending by £177 over the next 12 months.
Anyway...back to the point of this topic!
£10 Argos voucher claimed this morning after redeeming Nectar points.
SkyStore voucher claimed for approx £8 redeemed in the SkyStore.
£9.64 from matched betting.
Plus I've done a few PA studies today. £4.40 balance with £5.35 pending. I won't claim this until it's passed the £5 mark though.
Total for me today then is £27.64, and just over £6 away from hitting my target for August. Delighted with that!
Thank you to everybody who posted re: freebies for baby stuff etc, I've spent a couple of hours signing up to various sites and claiming various freebies which will definitely come in handy.
Sent you a pm. Goto run0 -
Thank you Aesop!
Good news (ish) about the car today, only £30 to fix the problem. Bad news is that according to the mechanic, it's highly likely the battery will have needed replacing anyway - so doesn't think it's worthwhile contacting RAC. £160 expenditure I really could have done with out, but at least the car is back, healthy and today's cost was minimal.
Managed a few more PA studies today, including a £7 one which was a nice bonus (once approved of course). Waiting to cash out until I hit £20 - does anybody else use Circle? That was recommended to avoid paying Paypal fees.0 -

Yes - I use circle. I quite like them and hate the idea of having to pay fees on my hard earned cash! Takes about 5 days to get it from Prolific, but it now withdraws into my bank immediately like Paypal.2025 decluttering: 5,000 🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅🌟2025 use up challenge: 362🥉🥈🥇💎🏆Mini freezer challenge +4/-20Big kitchen declutter challenge 120/1502025 decluttering goals I Use up Challenge: 🥉365 🥈750 🥇1,000 💎2,000 🏆 3,000 👑 8,000 I 🥉12 🥈26 🥇52 💎 100 🏆 250 👑 5000 -
Ooh - just seen in my inbox that there is a 10% extra on WeBuyBooks valid today only.. so get scanning! Sadly I don't think I'll be able to make the £5 minimum..
After saying this, I went through the box of books that I thought were pre ISBN, but not anything anyone will probably want to buy (pending as I didn't know what to do with them) and then made just over £5 as some did have ISBNs
I was then inspired to list another 5 items on the bay and will see if they sell. All slow moving and low value items now unfortunately, so the more on there the better!2025 decluttering: 5,000 🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅🌟2025 use up challenge: 362🥉🥈🥇💎🏆Mini freezer challenge +4/-20Big kitchen declutter challenge 120/1502025 decluttering goals I Use up Challenge: 🥉365 🥈750 🥇1,000 💎2,000 🏆 3,000 👑 8,000 I 🥉12 🥈26 🥇52 💎 100 🏆 250 👑 5000 -
I've added £10 from an EBay Buy it now and 12p that came from links Qmee supplied when I was doing an internet search.
I think eBay has changed in the two/three years I have been away from it. I do think it's still good for some things but I've liked instant results from local Facebook selling groups. When I was on eBay before I was very much of the opinion that starting something at 99p would lead to more interest. Now, just the impression I get, you're better off starting the auction a little higher in case it doesn't prove popular. Maybe it was always like that and I was lucky to get what I did before. I must admit I am growing to like the Buy it now option - just wish more of mine would sell, or faster.0 -

I use circle.
Cash outs are now processed by PA on Tuesday and Friday.
It hits circle almost immediately after PA process and if you withdraw to bank its there within an hour.
If you cash out to your card it takes 3-5 days so make sure you click to withdraw to bank not card0 -
Sorry me again. I'm jumping the gun and adding £25.24 that will be paid into my bank tomorrow as a first instalment of mystery shopping money as I won't be around these parts tomorrow x got another 10 active jobs for next couple of weeks and another payout of more than £50 due on 25th. I'm also due to get paid for a Facebook sale tomorrow and that's either £5 or £7. So while I may consider £400 of my total so far debatable, as it came from family, it's good to know I'd have gone over £310 anyway x0

Just dropping in to say thank you Aesop for the challenge I got nothing listed last month, you made me get off my @ss and list this month and 6 of the 11 items have bids already! Only 99p but still!0
