Hello Redo. Thanks for visiting my diary.
Is your enormous mortgage bigger than mine, 270k?

Redo and chums I am here as promised.  Page 236 is my last bookmark so I shall read and catch up with me-self asap.
Honestly, you will not be missing much if you just skipped it.  In the immortal words of Austin 'Danger' Powers, 'nothing happened except a gas shortage and a flock of seagulls'.

Actually the boys finished education, and Mr Redo took early retirement.  But other than that, mostly seagulls.

It used to be, but happily it isn't any more.  I am a huge advocate of tiny overpayments that add up, get addicted and lead to bigger overpayments.

Pension.  I logged on to my current work one to check.  Current DC fund total pot is three months pre tax salary which isn't bad considering I have only been direct employed for two years but it could be much better.  In answering a colleagues question about draw down on pensions I checked my dates and am (currently) ok for 55, the change to 57 happens after my 55th birthday.  Given that our aim is to clear the big debt and both stop work as soon as we can then this is good.  I need to up my contributions.  Must email our evil Catbert HRD to arrange.
  • Ooh that soup sounds nice redo. I love my instant pot it was a sound investment.
I cooked rice in ours tonight and turned it into egg fried rice WIth brocolli peppers and salmon.
