Fabulous 2021 accomplishments there Redo, and a nice achievable list for 2022 as well! Well done you! 😊😊4

Thank you all
Sorting the pension via salary sacrifice at work seems the most sensible route as they also add their employers NI saving, plus its simpler than claiming the tax relief.
No point me buying PBs says I. Never win anything says I. Buy them in Mr Redos name...
2nd month in a row the email arrives to say 'Mr Redo, you have won a prize, log on to see how much'. And the mild excitement of the five minute wait to see another £25. Happy days.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Mr Redo knows he has the PBs, but not the log ons for anything. The 'I aten't dead' folder for what he needs to do if something happened to me has cryptic clues for pass words. I like to think of him cursing me as he tries to work them out.
He was as cynical as me on the chances of the PBs actually winning anything but 2 x £25 out of 3 draws we have been eligible for is a good return against the pennies they would pick up in our savings at 0.6%
Frittered on a foraging calendar book for Mr Redo (the kindle version is one of the offers of the day but I bought a hard copy), and yet another SD card for the boy who is coding and needs another one for his latest Pi thingimajig. I am tempted by the Hotel Chocolat sale (thanks to moving forward!) so it may end up a spendy day. I haven't bought any jumpers in the sales at least.
Need to crack on with some cleaning, and carry on with the decluttering. I finished the last of the jelly belly beans last night so that counts as many items gone.

Made this chorizo based soup to feed the off spring and friends - a regular make, and firm favourite for the boy

Pyjamas / loungewear are the new jumpers for me (only 2 years behind the rest of the world). Well done on the essential jelly beans decluttering.

@WinterWarrior I add a spoonful of flour to the chorizo oils to thicken it but otherwise stick to the recipe. Mr Redo just had a bowl and declared it good.
@astrocytic_kitten I wear the warm jumpers over the nightwear on the rare days I can get away with camera off
I have extracted what I think is pork from the freezer tomorrow. If I am wrong and it is gammon then I will make the well received by mr redo and the eldest pinch of nom Campfire StewMy mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
