The robot sounds excellent! As you say you can just let it get on with it while you relax. How do the felines react to it? Or do they just find it a bore!:D
Well done on the insurance renewal and knocking some more pressies off the list! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Mostly the animals ignore the robot, even the petrified of the big hoover dog. Mr Fluff doesn't mind the big one but hates the robot. Cant win.
Busy weekend, deep clean of the bathroom including washing the walls. Damp is a fact of life in this house, so regular wipe downs are essential. I also tidied the freezer in case the stupidmarkets do the usual meat offers. Its really rather empty but at least I do know what is left lurking.
Had to nip into Wilkos for some greenhouse clips as the winds earlier in the week knocked a few plastic panels out. Evil ex stray objects to the cold draft so the panels had to go back in. Full points to the nice lady who got them out of the back for me rather than just saying come back in spring. Also got a few bits for the boys to unwrap in H&B so the present drawer is looking healthier. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Good customer service there in Wilkosl:)
My current household gadget that I'm coveting is a hand held steam cleaner, they just look like they would cut down cleaning time drastically and cut out the need for nasty chemicals too plus saving money on cleaning products,I just don't know if it's worth it and if so which one would be the best to go forOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1200 -
I have a steam mop that was given to me by a lovely neighbour, it's ok but I wouldn't starve to replace it. Good for a light clean rather than a decent scrub. We had a hand held one, mainly for decorating purposes but I did try to see if it was any use for cleaning. I wasn't keen but I know people who swear by them. I'm better with nice light microfibre cloths that don't make my hands ache.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

It's always nice to have a clean bathroom, mine takes ages to clean because of old grouting that goes mouldy and no extractor fan. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Our walls are stone HHOD so we struggle to add things like extractors, the stone doesn't help with the damp either. In som3 of the rooms the previous occupants painted the walls with varnish to stop the damp. Doesn't work and means the line mortared house can't breathe
OBL it tends to be my thumbs and wrists that cause problems, gripping a scrubbing brush for any length of time is not an option. Most of these devices work if you use them regularly, but nothing really replaces a thorough scrub with Jiff lemon cream.
Mortgage went out, so I did the usual rounding payment down to a whole number. It's quite satisfying, even it's just a few pounds. Pound less I'm paying interest on for the next 12 yearsanyway. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Can you a bathroom extractor through the ceiling redo? And then vent it behind the gutters? That's what I did in the last house. This one they seem to have run the vent hoses for miles to get to the gable walls...
Well done on the OPs. I really need to look at my mortgage. And my pensions. There's too much of the first and not enough of the second.0
