Yesterday as a spend day after all. Nipped into tesco for milk and some beef for FIL coming. Picked up some YS potatoes as our garden ones ran out. Also got some YS proper fresh fish for dinner (kept mine in the freezer), YS pork chops for the freezer, some other YS fruit and veg. So will now need to reduce my list for tomorrow by that.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

Morning all
Sorry haven't posted for a few days as I wasn't feeling great physically plus feeling like my budgeting is not really working this month. Have woken up this morning feeling miles better and in a much more positive frame of mind
At least with not feeling well, I wasn't spending money so now up to 13 NSDs, should manage another 3 before the end of the month to meet my target.
A bit of a tooth has fallen out this morning so will need to phone the dentist at 9. Fingers crossed it doesn't cost too much to fix.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.7.25 - £106,653.66

Morning all
I'm a bit quiet this month as well. August is always spendy as I'm off work - then yesterday's GCSE results weren't as good for my classes as I'd hoped so I've been feeling a bit sorry for myself as well. Just need to ride it through though and remember what I am grateful for:
My own children
Snuggles with the cats
Getting the very last exam report submitted
My new classroom finally being ok for me to move into
Glad you're feeling a bit better Calling
Hope dentist has gone ok misstaraNot giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Apologies for being awol all week, just haven't had much to say really! Payday on Wednesday, I just royally messed up the budget this month so have been keeping spends to a minimum. Although on the plus side I've underspent on both my food and petrol budget so it's not all bad news :T
Currently at my parents' for a couple of days relaxing, dog walking, eating and drinking. Back tomorrow night, might leave late enough to try and avoid paying for the Dartford tunnel if I can. Sunday is horse riding day and then Monday more horsey stuff as well. Hope everyone enjoys a nice long weekend! Can't believe August is almost over0 -
Today I am grateful for seeing an old friend and her kiddies, for dd and friend's dd having time together, for bouncy castle parks, for helpful metro staff, for bumping into big sis at the station (completely random - she called me and told me to turn around and look across the tracks - there she was!), for reserved seats for our looonnng journey down south, for dh meeting us off the bus, for my rasps being super fruitful, for the prospect of sleeping in my own comfy bed.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Morning all,
Still struggling to get SFDs. Yesterday was the monthly food shop. I did a click and collect from asder to stop me being tempted in the aisles and a quick dash round aldee for the bulk of the shop. I them batch cooked cottage pie last night.
Yesterday I was grateful for:-
- the chance to earn extra money temping
- the plasterers doing a great job on the new bathroom
- the plasterers being friendly and cleaning up well
- the sunshine to dry my washing and lift my mood
- pretty much sticking to the SW plan
- a free bacon cobLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Fmess - what is a bacon cob?
NSD yesterday, now 14/16. Definitely need to go to the shops today for toilet rolls, fruit and veg.
My dentist is on holiday at the moment so have made an appointment for when she is back. My tooth isn't sore so would rather wait than see a dentist I don't know.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.7.25 - £106,653.66
