Morning all, 10/21 for me please. :)
  • Been down with tonsillitis so now up to 5/14. On antibiotics now til Tuesday. they don't say I should avoid alcohol, but I guess it is a good idea. Still not 100% but feeling a lot better than I have done for the last couple of weeks.
What goes around comes around.....I hope!

Yes Barny and ElusiveLucy, get well soon x
  • I'm sure we're all different, so I don't know if this tip will help but I've found that eating something has a very definite damping effect on my desire to consume alcohol... Like a lot of us, I often return from work with raised stress levels and my subconscious does its best to steer me towards taking a drink. Steely resolve must be applied, which is of course, the issue we all have varying degrees of trouble with! but I often find that eating my evening meal turns off the desire to take a drink almost like a switch.
