I'm with you, MaggieM - bright days are bearable even when they're cold. My favourite days in the winter are the high pressure ones - no clouds, blue skies, maybe a touch of frost, no wind, near freezing temperatures but blissful none the less. And I say that as someone that can't bear to be cold. (I've just asked OH for my Christmas present this year to be a pair of sheepskin gloves. Nothing else. I think I've reached the age where I've realised I've probably reached peak stuff, but I do like to be warm!) My least favourite weather is wind and rain together, so living in the south west isn't ideal!
