All is fine thanks Maman. Just busy and finding life overwhelming at times. There is so much to do and remember. Luckily I have a lazier weekend coming up.Live for the moment and plan for the future0

Nothing on Tuesday but a glass of wine last night. I had intended to be AF but my mind was in a scramble from work and it wanted to unwind. I should have held off but I am super pleased that was all I had. Usually I would just carry on for a couple more.
So 4/20 please.0 -
Struggled last night - always associate an airport lounge with a glass of wine and the sense of relaxing, on my way home. However, resisted so can report 4/15 so far this month.
I think there will always be times when I need to actively chose not to have a drink, rather than those days when I don’t even think about it. Hoping for another AFD today.0 -

I can't tell if I'm flagging cos when I started the diet, I was "in the zone" and so just didn't drink, and now I'm in the next stage of having to resisting and the "zone" slipping.
But I have resisted and I'm hoping that the next stage will be that it's just second nature not to drink and that the cravings go.
Apparently when we change a habit, our subconscious tries to get us to revisit the old behaviour while we're getting used to the new ones. Well done for resisting - it'll get easier because those cravings at work will soon stop and besides which, you know you can do this now. That's the thing to remind yourself when you find yourself in the midst of an unexpected, unwelcome craving.
You're doing brilliantly! :T :j :T
Hellishly busy, so I'm sorry if I'm not giving this thread the time it deserves at the moment. I'll be back, as they say.
9/30 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
Morning all, 9/21 for me please.0

Hi Everyone..
I have been sitting here trying to think of something encouraging to say to those people who are struggling but everything I go to write doesn't seem right so will send encouraging and positive thoughts instead.
Doing OK here this week and no more wobbles since the weekend. In total I have 43 days AF under my belt which is more than I've had for some time.and feeling good.
09/30 for me Shaggy - Thanks0 -

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
