There is another thread running on the forum regarding Eversmart and recent developments where they are not honouring the fixed term of their Welcome Home Tariff.
The Welcome Pack sent to customers states "Price guaranteed until xxth August 2019", this they are disputing as not being fixed.
Their reply to complaints is:Thank you for getting in touch. I would just like to confirm that the Welcome Home tariff is variable and is subject to change at any time with 30 days notice.
I understand that this was initially quoted to you as fixed, however I am sorry to say that this was a technical error when we first launched this tariff.
I would like to offer you £10.00 credit to your account and assure you that we have taken steps to ensure this does not happen again.

Is that a reply you have received, as it seems at odds with the link you gave to the explanation you gave in that other thread

To help me in my complaint with Eversmart. Anyone with a Welcome Pack email who joined in mid to late July? If so could you post the Tariff details?0

I really cannot see what all the fuss is about.
It doesn't really matter whether they call iit fixed or variable.
If the price is guaranteed until next August then they can't arbitrarily change it even with 30 days notice until after next August without breaching the contract.
If they do then I'll be after them like a rocket but until that happens I shall just enjoy their cheap leccy and worry about it next August when the guarantee expires.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
I logged into my Eversmart account to supply monthly readings. All previous readings have disappeared and the site just hangs when I click the "invoices" tab.
Anyone else seeing this?
Eversmart are beginning to get on my nerves. Iresa were better than this lot.0 -

You could raise a complaint. This is the email address to the Customer Resolutions Manager. However, he is not that responsive.

The meter reading upload functionality is now working and I entered updated readings. Whether they use them is another matter
.
The invoices are still broken here but I have one saved anyway.0
