Thanks! That k750i looks great but I've been without a Nokia for 10months now (I have a Sharp) & I'm missing them! Whatever the phone, its a bargain at that price. Good luck with the order & fingers crossed for hassle-free rebates!0

Isn't it completely ridiculous how much stuff you have to cancel with these offers? If you left everything they wanted you to pay, you'd be paying an average of £51 a month after the first 8. I guess that hoping that people forget to cancel (and forget to claim cashback) is how OSPS make their money..
I've already chosen not to include the insurance when buying online - and I think the "10 minutes technical support for £6.95 per quarter" (or is it unlimited? whatever it is, it's a ripoff) is also cancelled by doing that. So hopefully I Just need to cancel the texts after month 6. I think I might write them a letter asking for written confirmation of precisely which bills they need for cashback and then include a copy of their reply with my claims - if they're fussy and take 45 days to pay then you don't get a second chance!
edit: The offer has now changed again, now it's just 6 months at 2.99. Not so good. I've emailed to see whether I'll still get the 7 months free offer or if I will get the worse offer because it hasn't been dispatched yet.0 -

I was on the 8 months free offer 3 days ago and for some reason because they could not process my credit card they cancelled my order !!!!!!!!!
So I called them and now I have to go for the 6months @ £2.99. That's insane ! I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them and they say in their T&C that they are allowed to cancel an offer whenever they want. It's a ripoff really !!!!
I calculated that I am actually losing £77.94 from the original deal if I stay on £30/month for the full 12 months and £47.94 if I change to £15/month after month 6. Still a good deal though but I could not get the online deal as I processed my order on the phone ! So stupid !!!!!!!! So it costs me 107.94

You had a reply by e-mail from OSPS....Are you Royalty or something????....lolThenotsowyzewun wrote:Hi I have an Orange phone via Onestopphoneshop's 12 month cashback on a 12 month contract deal and its currently on OVP Anytime 200 (equivalent to Vodafone Anytime 200) however I don't actually use the contract (I just got it to sell the free phone
) and have asked onestopphoneshop what would happen if I changed the tariff (i'll post the e-mail in asec), basically they've said fine go ahead it won't affect cashback at all, so I'm looking for the cheapest contract there is (that I can apply for via Orange Value Promise, which excludes "promotional" tariffs). The cheapest I've found is One.Plan 20 from Onetel for £4.99 a month, I doubt anyone will beat this but I thought I'd ask!!
EDIT: Just read they'll only honour contracts "available to individual Pay Monthly customers, from O2, Vodafone & T Mobile retail stores only." so that's Onetel and the next cheapest, BT Mobile, out the window
, cheapest now is Vodafone Business £14 (as shown on the OVP page on Orange's site)0 -
please keep all k750i talk in other thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=563349#post563349
