Irishpearce26 said:So still on for completion on the 3rd (I hope) but haven't exchanged yet. My solicitor is just getting confirmation on drawing down funds (im lucky that i have a very communicative solicitor). I know my buyer has exchanged already and the house we are buying is empty and is part of a part ex. Everything is booked and ready to go and the house is about 70% packed. I think ill only start to get nervous come Monday afternoon if we don't know what we will be exchanging. Also having to try and get a response from the developer as to the state the previous owners left some of the walls, this is one of the worst examples. Top corner near the ceiling in the lounge.0

Hello everyone. My first post but I wanted to join the waiting game. We are a chain of three... FTB is buying our current home and the house we are buying is already empty as the owners have downsized to a bungalow and already moved out.
12/01 - offer accepted on our current home
20/01 - offer accepted on the home we will be moving to and solicitors instructed
22/01 - mortgage app submitted
03/02 - buyers mortgage offer received
05/02 - our mortgage offer received& buyers searches back
08/02 our searches back
22/02 all enquiries on our purchase responded to and we received enquiries for our sale
24/02 we responded to all enquiries on our sale
25/02 - contract and TR1 for purchase received to sign and return
Just waiting on our sale contract being signed and returned by our buyer and then we should be good to go. No dates have been mentioned yet. Do you think we're at a point I can ask for some indication of dates?

We're still on some enquires, the buyers solicitors keep asking for clarifications.
We started this process with current buyer and seller in early November (two fallen through sales previous due to people losing jobs but been on market to sell and buy since Jan 2020).
Sellers - not heard from them in a bit, but believe everything is back from their solicitor and our solicitor is preparing the report.
We've not received anything to sign yet - I'm going to cry
