Gonna have to put back on the market and go back to some previous viewings and see what they think. I guess ive just about got enough time before the SD holiday ends if it goes quick. Although I did just read that its is being debated virtually in parliament now on Monday - so maybe a good chance it will get extended. I just hope my sellers don't have enough and pull out too.0 -

Solicitor seems very laid back about this and seems to be reluctant to commit to anything. My suspicion is he's putting exchange off because he has too much work on so cant fit it in. What would others do in this situation? Specifically, how often would you be hassling him. Last spoke in Monday and have just been waiting to hear ever since.
How on earth do they manage to get any completions done at all when they don't talk to anyone !
Fed up and so over it all now 🙄
We are all ready to exchange FTB ISA has been closed we are just waiting on the solicitors now.. fingers crossed we get answers today you too.. but I very much have no confidence at all any more 😕0 -

He was applying for a BTL mortgage and apparently the bank had a suspicion that he was actually using the BTL process to go round the fact he didn't earn much money and then actually live in the house. He obviously denies that but the more i think about it the more i think its possible.0 -
Been a while since I checked in.
We were forced to break the chain and move into the in-laws, due to a land registry issue at the top of the chain. We have now been here for one week.
I have had an update today that the issue is now sorted (allegedly) and they have suggested a completion date of the 12th February.
Will it happen? 🙈🙏4 -
Exchanged today!!! However..... all our funds are from our mortgage equity and that and so far we haven't received completion statement? Getting rather worried we should have. Am I right be be concerned!!?? Solicitor definitely said you've exchanged tho and email from bank confirming funds were requested1

Solicitor definitely said you've exchanged tho and email from bank confirming funds were requestedDo you need to add money from your own funds or is full purchase price met by your mortgage & equity from sale? Is that enough to cover solicitors & EA fees as well?I would be concerned unless sale proceeds covers all the above0
