I'm away for a few days now, but my solicitor usually emails everything to me (for me to then print off and return in person). If there's anything that's urgent, I can print and post it to them.0 -

Same date as us!!JS21 said:Congratulations to everyone that has managed to exchange/complete/make movements this week!
We've finally exchanged today with completion set for 22nd October!!! I've never refreshed my emails so many times but feel like I can finally relax ahead of a staycation starting tomorrow.
Good luck to everyone for good news tomorrow!1 -

Good luck to everyone trying to exchange or complete today 🍀1 -
We've finally agreed a completion date of next Friday after a month of chasing. No exchange yet but hoping for Monday.
Does anyone know how long it takes for HSBC to release the mortgage funds? I had a look online and it said 14 days which means we will miss our completion date...does it really take that long? Solicitor didn't seem that worried but then they've been pretty lax the whole way through!1 -
Congratulations to everyone exchanging and good luck to those hoping for today!
We have officially handed in our rental notice today. Very scary stuff, but I’m confident that we will complete before the month is up. And worst comes to worst I have made peace with the idea of moving in with family 🙏
I gave the solicitor our suggested completion date of the 15th yesterday and they are taking it to the seller’s solicitor today, so I’ve just chased up via email and hope to hear some good news. If we can agree on a completion date the worry of handing in my notice will mostly go I think. The house is vacant and there is no chain so hopefully they won’t be picky with their dates!1 -
Does anyone know if the contracts can be emailed, printed to be signed or do they have to come via post?
