That's good - thank you! So, we are close at long last! Its for the house we are buying, and authority was given for this by the vendor last week, and it hasn't been confirmed that it is now in place - and they are not answering their phone again. 16th June - Valuation booked for 18th
18th June - Valuation completed - received text and email confirming the report had been received by Nationwide for review.
22nd June - Hard search (Transunion)
24th June - Second hard search (Equifax)
1st July - Extra documents requested and uploaded by Broker
9th July - Proof of Deposit requested and uploaded by Broker
12 July - Searches applied for
19th July - Problem with Proof of Deposit upload - reuploaded by Broker with narrative
19th July - Survey carried out
20th July - Offer issued - checked and confirmed by Broker
21st July - Contract checks complete
22nd July - Additional enquiries sent
23rd July - Survey report returned
27th July - Documents reviewed and okayed with solicitor

Just had a phone call from my estate agent - wanting me to make arrangements to drop off keys! I said but we haven't exchanged contracts yet - and she said well the solicitors are very busy so it will probably happen on the same day as completion, but obviously there is no gurantee that it will happen!
Looks like I am going to be in a position of having a removal lorry full of my house contents but with possibility for it to have no where for it to go! Don't know whether to laugh or cry - think I will just eat a big load of chocolate instead!0 -
