Thanks, panicking at the minute as our buyers solicitors are holding things up over a gifted deposit letter that our buyer says she signed and sent back ages ago. Worried in because our buyer is now in isolation so anything needed in person will probably jepodise things. I can see me driving around picking up documents from under doors and delivering them to her solicitor 🤣birdmadgirl8 said:

So turns out the outstanding info from the bank for the top link is still outstanding - despite being told this had been resolved on Thursday. Feeling very concerned that the top of the chain is going to ruin thisbirdmadgirl8 said:

How many people are in your chain if you don't mind me asking?E_D_FTB said:So turns out the outstanding info from the bank for the top link is still outstanding - despite being told this had been resolved on Thursday. Feeling very concerned that the top of the chain is going to ruin this

5 parties, 3 links - so us and our sellers, them and their sellers, then their sellers and a "commercial property purchase". Honestly, there have been so many issues with the top of the chain, and they've been really pushy about completing before the deadline, despite apparently still not being in a position to exchange.justcat01 said:

Hoping for some positive action in the next few days. From what I understand there is now just one new enquiry waiting to be answered. Seller's solicitor was away end of last week so hopefully this will be answered today/ tomorrow. I have repeatedly asked what the enquires are but just don't get a straight answer to my question. Very stressed out that it could be something serious. The solicitors said it was needed to confirm the title is adequate security.FTB

So, just phoned my estate agent to try and find out what is going on - she just said that as far as she knows completion is still down for 29th, but can't give me any further information and I need to contact my solicitors. When I try to contact solicitors, I either can't get through or I get even more vague replies!
Exchange still not taken place - anxiety levels are high!0
