my vendor solicitor has been told from the start the deadline we need to make so I don’t know if they just don’t care about that deadline or they are confident they can get it done so not rushing 🤷‍♀️

We're a chain of 5, the top 4 have been VERY clear that it needs to happen before the deadline. It seems impossible that we will now, unless a lot has happened today that nobody has updated us on, but nobody in the chain has said anything yet... 

I'm hoping everyone will hang on, but it'll sting, and I'm not sure that they will without evidence that our buyer is actually getting somewhere. 

I hope yours moves faster! It's all so frustrating.

We are only a chain of 3, my buyer isn’t in a chain and our vendors are moving in with family so on paper it’s pretty much straightforward! But not working out so simple in real life……

I asked our covering solictor when they expect the enquiries to be raised and they replied advising that enquiries are raised in date order of when the contract packs are received 

Of course ours took ages to be received! That doesn't bode well

I've phoned up again this morning. It's the radio silence I can't deal with, it's got to be one of the only industries where you are the paying customer and there's no customer service.

@arrows123 Any news? Or are you waiting for a call back? 

I'm hating the waiting, too. I've emailed the estate agent to see if our buyer has actually managed to book in the second try at the valuation... I can't imagine it'll be this week, if they haven't. 

Our solicitor never seems to understand what is actually happening, so I'm reluctant to chase her, but I suppose I should do that too... 

Radio silence from up the chain, which is making me nervous. Arrgh.

The waiting continues here our sale is meant to complete this Friday but no exchanges as yet!! We are moving into temp accommodation till our new builds finished
