Still waiting for the enquiries report for our onward purchase, but verbally the solicitor said we should be good to go now.
Our buyer said that they have the searches back and enquiries have been raised but not yet set to our solicitor ( they are being checked?)
I really hope we get this done by the end of this month. Saving a little bit on SD but also not having to commute for longer than a month. I just want to move now10th June - DIP submitted

So we're off to the solicitor's office this afternoon to sign contracts and check that we're ready to exchange. Only thing I'm aware of that's outstanding is transfer of deposit to the solicitor, so fingers crossed! The rest of the chain is aiming for 30th completion to get in under the Stamp Duty wire, which feels like cutting it a bit fine to me! Not our problem though, so not gonna argue it!
Good luck to everyone waiting to exchange/complete today!10th June - DIP submitted

The radio silence is the worst. Feel like I'm constantly waiting for something to happen. In the meantime I really should be getting prepared, sorting and packing etc. But I just can't concentrate on anything!3

Monday felt so much more positive, but no updates at all yesterday, and we've now been assigned our fourth solicitor in six weeks, who has emailed this morning to say that there is a missing search and they've had no response from our lender about the partial loft conversion yet. It doesn't appear that they've responded to the buyer's solicitor, despite us sending all the documents and responses on Monday, and explaining why it needed to go quickly...
Our chain didn't collapse yesterday, but we're getting calls from the three estate agents above us daily, and our buyer's mortgage offer still isn't in, although must be imminent now...
I can't concentrate on anything else, it's driving me insane. Being so pregnant in this heat probably isn't helping, either!
Fingers crossed we all get good updates soon.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:1 -
