Not sure if we will be able to complete before the end of September ☹️ apparently my sell has only just received the title plan for the onward purchase so searches have only just been applied for, she hasn’t got the draft contract either.
Theres no chain involved in their purchase do you think this would be achievable?0 -

Our original reservation was pulled just before we were due to exchange (with completion meant to be 2 weeks after that). That was a blessing as we've now exchanged on a much nicer and bigger house in a much better location, where we wanted to be originally but didn't think we'd be able to.
When the original fell through a few people said that these things often happen for a reason. Whilst it was the last thing I wanted to hear then, it's turned out to be right.
Just sharing in case anyone has a similar situation - keep the faith and don't get too disheartened.
8 months ago since we started this process and I can safely say I'm in no rush to repeat it.8 -

FTB with no chain, property has been vacant since last year. Offer accepted on 11th May, searches paid for mid June and the local search still isn't back (we were promised 16th August at the latest). Vendors are understandably getting impatient as they have already had two previous sales fall though, but luckily the EA is good at keeping them informed (unlike our solicitor). I just want a date, don't even care now if it's weeks away, I need to give notice on my flat and start organising things so that I can start arguing about wallpaper with my OH0

This is after being told for the last 2 weeks it might be a couple of days… might be tomorrow. I feel like someone is having a huge laugh at my expense!!!! I’m not a cryer as a rule but I’m so close to it right now. This is the latest coms from our
buyers conveyancer. Beyond words right now 🤨
