Totally understand the feeling. My sellers solicitor hadn’t given enough time to the rest of the chain in order to make the tight deadline. It might be next Friday, but who knows. Feeling really disappointed.

Well I was supposed to be exchanging and completing today... the seller is uncontactable and his solicitor states he has not given him instruction to proceed - guess we won't be making stamp duty deadline....0

We got our completion statement through and deposit has been transferred! Just got buildings insurance in place ready to exchange although they didn't give me an exchange date so I've just done it from tomorrow, is that OK?!0

I'm so pleased for you all that have managed to exchange/complete and keeping fingers crossed for you all so close to the line!
After a week of radio silence from the vendors, the EA has just got hold of them today and confirmed that they're pulling out of the sale and withdrawing from market. You'll find me sobbing in the corner in the corner with a bottle of wine 😭💔0 -

Thanks @Firsttime2021 they said they'd considered our offer but they're struggling to find a rental so don't want to commit to anything anymore. I get it but I'm still really mad, disappointed, frustrated, slightly teary. It's just so depressing to start all over again, though the only good part of this process is how amazing our conveyancer and broker are - definitely keeping them on the books!Firsttime2021 said:
