Wow, so many people exchanged or gotten dates too - congratulations to all.
Hoping to hear news from my solicitor next week on our own exchange date, it'll probably be me chasing her again though.0 -
Eek some progress, estate agent called. Said vendor has had contact from his solicitor proposing the 9th and he has agreed, and that I should hear from mine on Tuesday regarding deposit transfer and exchange! Dare I hope???1

Well done to all who have exchanged and good luck to those waiting.
Can I please ask, for those expecting to complete Monday-Wednesday, have you received your completion certificate yet. Anxiety is in overdrive and understandably conveyancers are not answering emails or phone calls until the 30th June. Is this normally given on the day of completion or before?

Congratulations to all that have completed and exchanged. Good luck to those who will be exchanging/completing on Monday. So I had an update after I sent an email to the solicitors secretary - our searches are back and she will be sending out a report and paperwork to sign. However - I messaged the housing association to update them with info (to get there solicitor chasing) about our mortgage offer and she said they haven’t even heard from my solicitor at all, which resulted in me needing to send proof of deposit and my offer to them.We only have 3 months to complete from accepting their offer to sell, we’re already a month in and we had to push for her to do the searches that’s when she shouted at my husband.I think I need to grow a backbone and may need a hand from you all on the forum in the next few weeks.0

I guess no news is good news! We’ve actually just been told we’ve completed (we were told it will be Monday and I’m sure there’s some formality) as our mortgage broker has had the notification from the lender.1 -
We’ve been told that only 1 enquiry is outstanding on our purchase and today we’ve signed (undated) the docs for completion!Still no word on our sale though as our buyers solicitor has been uncontactable0

Completion statement yes, not thinking straight sorry!
Exchanged on the 3rd June to complete on the 28th. Heard nothing in-between, which is actually adding to the anxiety. I'm sure all is fine, just wondering if we should have received anything before planned completion on Monday.
Thanks all.Buying timeline

finally received responses on Thursday from the sellers to enquires raised by our solicitor, awaiting review by a senior conveyor. If all goes to plan and there is no further enquiries, can someone tell me what happens next? How long until completion etc? Both sides chain free. Sorry first time buyer.0
