Our sellers asked for 'another week' last weekend so how long do I give it tomorrow before we chase for an update?
I've spent the weekend no knowing whether to pack more, prep for viewings again or just to unpack and give up on moving entirely! I'm not sure how much more my nerves can take!
Fingers crossed for positive updates all round tomorrow morning, especially to those hoping to complete by Weds.
we are hoping to hear what’s happening with our sale this week so a week of anxiety here too0 -

This may be another silly question but we are first time buyers and unsure on the whole process. The enquires were responded to by the seller and received by our solicitor on 22/06/2021. I was told that we are just waiting for these to be reviewed to see whether any more enquiries should be raised. We are still yet to hear, what is the usual timeframe for reviewing enquires? Unsure whether to chase or not - however beginning to get impatient and both sides are wanting to exchange asap0

these are the last enquiries according to my buyers solicitors and after this we should be able to talk about dates.

We will have another attempt at exchange tomorrow with hope for completion Weds, fingers crossed for us and all the others wanting to beat the deadline.
Spent the weekend packing/dismantling etc and feeling quite excited, although if we don't make Weds we will have to wait another month whilst seller gets new mortgage to cover her stamp duty costs 🤦
Good luck for the week ahead everyone.3 -

Always chase. Maybe allow a day or two (as you already have done) and then chase to ask what they found and if new equiries are needed (and have now been sent). Then keep the EA informed that either (a) progress has been made, or (b) you are waiting on the seller's solicitors.
