She said she received just this morning the insurance info from the seller's solicitor, and she's optimistic that we will be able to exchange Monday and complete Wednesday! I'm still not believing it, she said she'll send me the statement (I suppose completion statement?) shortly. She will then call me Monday for authority to exchange. She's just waiting final confirmation from seller that she's ok with these dates. Do I dare to hope?

And they keep asking about my roof rain drains…
Im so fed up.The house I’m buying is empty since mid May. I jaunt want to move.
A FENSA certificate still needs to be provided.
Why can't you answer enquires about the drains?
I'm sure you want to move, and I'm sure your buyer also wants to move. But right now you're the one holding things up.These are the pipes and I can’t even lift that little black lid off. My solicitor provided them these photos. Also my buyers been out twice so far and not once asked me about these.Any idea where can I find out where does the water goes ? I’m an end of terraced and all the houses drain pipes look exactly this.Thank you 😊My understanding is the balance pond which is man made takes all surface water and allows it to filter into a second balance pond, as this fills up it then drains into a stream and eventually feeds into the local river. It just slows the process of excess water and stops the stream (and homes) from getting flooded etc., I think they are fairly common on new build estates.1 -

Just respond to this enquiry with "the buyer should rely on their own surveys and inspections". This normally shuts them up.0
