We are now in week 21 of our attempt to buy a property with our mortgage deal set to expire imminently - the lower chain are in the same position. When we came to exchange two weeks ago, a new charge was found to have been added to the title in August, which the vendor solicitor said they knew about and were dealing with, but hadn't informed us.
Unfortunately, it was only this Friday just gone that they said they'd attempted to expedite and we've not heard back from them since.
The title number is BM14568, any help or advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!
I’ll flag with colleagues and ask them to make it an expedite in circumstances
@Land_Registry thank you so much for this, you've turned my day around! The vendor's solicitor remains unresponsive on the matter and time is critical. Please do let me know if there is anything further I can do to assist an expedite, and whether it is approved.

Hi, we are very close to exchanging and completing on a property. We have just been informed today by our solicitor there ‘may’ be a restriction or something that will stop us registering the sale right at the end (can’t remember the correct term). They have no confirmation and I can see there are no pending applications on the title at present.If I send the title number via DM could you please look this up and let me know if there could be an issue?0

That’s for your solicitor I’m afraid rather than us
