Hi Land Registry
Can I get an update on BM322340 please?
Has the restrictioner's consent now been processed?
Thanks0 -
I need to get an ID1 authorised, rather than pay ridiculous solicitors fees I am willing to travel to a land registry office.
Are you still able to do face to face checks or have you stopped this altogether and not gone back to the office yet?0 -
We haven’t received/logged a consent as yetCCJJ said:Hi Land Registry

Is this sort of delay normal for processing post or is it likely lost (been over a week)?
They did provide me with a digital copy which I have now emailed to noticeresponse@landregistry.gov.uk.

If you have to have your identity verified and can use form ID3 then it’s as listed in PG 67A. Those listed can’t use form ID1
You say it’s a simple name and address change

No and the lengthy wait would suggest so. We may not accept the email from you as being sufficient and it could complicate matters.CCJJ said:

Out of curiosity - is there any legal requirement to remove restrictions when you no longer have any interest / right to the property. This issue is just down to a third party not removing a restriction when then disposed of their interest years ago and now my sale's going to fall apart costing me £'000s. I find it hard to believe this is actually the system.0 -
There’s no legal requirement but in not doing so they may leave themselves open to legal action if they don’t. But that’s where a solicitor/court comes in to play so what legal process and/or comeback exists would be one to ask a solicitor.CCJJ said:

I find it hard to believe this is actually the system. We wouldn’t be involved in that aspect but a process exists for both parties to apply to cancel/withdraw such third party interests but of course many people wouldn’t be aware until it mattered I suspect“Official Company Representative
