Many thanks for your advice and link you sent me earlier this week with regards to transferring a share of a property
Is there any chance you could advise the timescale for processing this paperwork for the transfer?
It looks like we have a buyer for the property before it goes to market so the timescale will be important
RegardsIf you are doing it yourselves then you should expect a 4-5 week wait with expedition
I spoke to the solicitor we will be using to sell the property late yesterday and they told me the current timescale for the LR to do a transfer is a minimum of 3 months............is there any chance it might take anywhere near this timescale bearing in mind you mentioned 4-5 weeks??
Thanks againTheir 3 month estimate is based on a generous estimate and No expedition
I only asked the solicitor to get an idea of the timescales but i have every intention of doing the LR forms etc for myself
The solicitor quoted my £850 plus the LR fees for them to sort the paperwork out which from what i have seen is a silly price

anewbuyer said:Hi Land Registry,
I own a flat in a converted victorian house. The house number is 6. There is an adjacent commercial property that looks like the garage of the house with its own land separately which is known as "6A". From the street, it all may look like a victorian house with a garage entrance in the same building.
My problem is the following: when I search in Google Maps or on the Land Registry map for my property, it takes me to the wrong address down the street (there is another number 6 house, but that is another story), even if I use the postcode, it takes me to the wrong address, which has made my life a bit difficult with delivery men, if I write "6A" it does take me to my property.
When investigating a bit in the Land Registry map I discovered that my property, the house "6" and garden are actually wrongly registered as "6A", and then I realised in Google Maps the property is as well marked as "6A", not "6". Basically, they confused the land and now my land appears as "6A", not "6", which is another property, I am not sure how they named the real "6A".
Is there anything I can do to correct this mistake? I've written to contact @ landregistry-uk . com at least 2 or 3 months ago but I got no reply, so any advice on what to do will be appreciated.
- House 6: it has 2 leasehold flats under a freehold: ground floor (with garden) and first-floor flats. The map number should match: 38578612
- Commercial property 6A is a freehold on its own: it has a garage-like entrance and its own land/garden and buildings on the rear side. The map number should match: 38578783
Thank you in advance.

Looks like you’ve been contacting a third party website which provides information but doesn’t actually maintain the land register“Official Company Representative

error_eros said:Hello @Land_Registry , we completed a purchase of a property at the end of last September, title no. EGL271855. I haven't heard anything from HMLR since and it's nearly a year. So I wonder if everything is alright with our application to update the registry? Can you please check the status of the application for me? I've asked this here before and it was already in process. Although I can see on the government property information website that the 'last sold for' information has been updated, but I still haven't heard from HMLR. Is it the right time I get in touch with my solicitor and ask for update now?
Thanks very much

Hello.
I recently posted a query in the mortgage section and someone kindly directed me here, hoping someone is able to help in some way please?
We bought a new build in April and ported the mortgage from the previous house over & added on additional borrowing. There was only 8 months remaining on the fixed mortgage so knew we’d have to remortgage more or less straight away.
We got an offer in July on a mortgage and have started the legal process - this is where it come to light that the land registry has not completed & we’ve been told we can’t remortgage without this. We were told this could be 18-24 months. We’ve asked for expedition which we’ve been told has been granted but there are 12 prior applications holding up the process. We don’t know where we can go to speed any of this up but by not being able to remortgage it’s going to have massive implications financially for us. It seems we’ve done everything we can/need to and the process is being held up - is there anything more we can do to speed it up or provide temp evidence to the mortgage provider in the meantime?Thanks0 -

But I’m not sure how I’d find that out?0 -

Dear Land Registry - I am in the process of selling my flat. The Title Plan on the LR is incorrect.
However, in August 2005 Harrow District Land Registry sent me an official copy of the register saying no amendment to the title plan has been made. According to my solicitor the title plan registered with you is incorrect, whereas the one sent to me in 2005 is correct.
Anyway, the purchaser's solicitor has said that as there is a mortgage involved, my solicitor needs to rectify the incorrect plan and ask the registry to expedite the application.
Surely if the correct plan is registered with Harrow District LR they can speak to you to rectify the incorrect plan. the old title number is NGL585322. (updated Title number AGL273017 - Edition date 16.12.2019). What is the quickest way of sorting this out please? thank you
