  • Hello. House that we are looking at has the following sales history
    Sold for 126k in 2016
    Sold for 77k  in 2021
    Advertised for 190k now

I paid for the title registry and there is a note on the document : As to the part numbered 1 in blue on the title plan only the first floor room is included in the title.
What does it mean? Does it mean that only 1 room /share was sold which would explain why it only sold for 77k  . Sorry if that sounds silly.

The part tinted blue means only the first floor room was included along with the rest of the property as edged red. Essentially the building/land above and beneath that first floor room is not included in that title.
It doesn’t mean what you suggest and it’s not a silly Q.

  • Thanks a lot for replying. So if the house is now advertised as freehold and asking price is full market price what did happen in the meant time? Very confusing .

The price paid is simply factual information. Hopefully the seller can explain the difference for you as they should know why and address any confusion
If you think the £77K is an error then you can report it and it will be checked but only to see if that was the price quoted at the time or if an error was made for some reason

  • Hi LR

I was hoping you might be able to advise on timescales which I know is the age old question!

I have submitted an AP1 along with DS1 and ID1 for myself to have a charge removed.  I received the property alert when the application was received.

Could you please advise what the timeline is now and the process?  i.e. if there was something amiss with the form or documentation is this checked when the notification is sent so I might have been notified by now or in 12 weeks or longer?

    Thanks in advance... PMS

The application is unlikely to be processed for 3-4 months. When it is we will contact you as appropriate.
The Alert service is not connected to the casework process itself

  • Could I please ask that does it mean it there is no information about a property on Register ?
The property is a council house which a family member wants to purchase via RTB and when we paid for full report on it this is what it says :
The title number provided has application pending against it.
What application could it be as this has been council property for years

There's not likely to be an individual title for the house if it's still owned by the council, it's going to be one title for possibly the council's whole estate. In which case the application is most likely nothing to do with the house.
  • That makes sense. Thanks a lot.
It is odd as the report shows different names of tenants as to the people who are in the property for the last 9 years.

I don’t recognise the screenshot so would be interested to see which site/service it’s from
The wording says there’s a pending application and as you didn’t ask for backdated copies, namely the information prior to receipt of that application, no information has been provided. It doesn’t say there isn’t any information
