I had wanted to see The Snowman when it was released but gave it a miss when I saw the reviews. Glad I did though the book on which it's based, by Jo Nesbo, is good.

I didn't know it was a book. It has been years since I read new fiction.... or even old fiction!

They used to be. I don't have space for them now, or the time. TV is my escape. And audio books.

Glad you enjoyed your weekend away xx

  • Hello all,

Not really been here much, sorry about that, work has been KNACKERING, I don't think I will be there for much longer. It is too messy.

I have been out a few times recently and have 0 money. I really can't seem to budget. Just had to pay out loads for people leaving.

So post weekend away I have just been getting through the days at work, my manager is leaving us and I am not dealing, in fact I am aggressively not dealing.

I am looking at next term as a new job. The reality is I have been teaching longer than everyone on the leadership team. My new manager has been teaching 5 years. They can't get staff to stay although it isn't a bad place really - my experience tells me it could be a lot worse and I like my little job. I am on a strictly term by term basis in terms of my commitment and an absolute determination not to be stressed.

Life here continues as is, helping sister, looking after Mum, going out a few times. It is ok. The weekend away was fantastic and so needed.

I am however looking forward so much to the holidays. I am away for this weekend, on a hideously expensive weekend to Nice. Hey ho you only live once.

Any one recommend any good books?

Big love people I miss being here XXX
