I too am having problems with this company - no response at all after sending an iphone 3g 16gb in on the 10th, sent it special delivery but post office have a signature so say it was delivered so insurance will not cover it for going missing (although they now limit payouts to £100 so would still be out of pocket).

Not very happy at the moment

Hi. Well, at last, the money was put into my bank for the Apple 3GS (took 11 days). Maybe they are very busy - but its no excuse for poor customer support. Maybe some hope for all you lot out there waiting for money.....

I will NEVER use their service again.

I set up an account & phone order with them 29th Nov, got a freepost envelope from them 21st Dec, posted my phone 23rd Dec and have heard nothing since.

I was starting to get a little concerned the time it was taken to receive my payment.
It took around 3 weeks for payment to go through.
No communication nothing!!
I would never use these again.:mad:

Has anyone sent a phone to mobilephonebuyer.net i have been waiting for a month now they said they has transferred the money into my account 2 weeks ago they have not responded to my emails and there phone number is out of use has anyone else been ripped off ?

Hi,

I sent a phone to this firm on the 02nd December and received an email saying it was received, since then I have had no contact and have emailed them several times and just get an automated response. Their website states payment within 7 days and this has been well over a month. I only found this firm because of this site so dont feel Martin should be advertising this firm when they are clearly not paying for phones received.

I am concerned now as the phone was worth £80 and it doesnt look like I am getting anything.

Anyone received any money recently from this firm?

I too am having problems with this company, i sent them an Apple Iphone 8gb over 2 weeks ago by recorded delivery, I received a prompt email 3 days later to say they had received the phone, then another email 4 days later to say the money had been put into my bank account, all good you think.

I have now waited 6 days since receiving that last email for the money to go into my account & still nothing. I have emailed them about 5 times and still no reply, they guarantee payment within 7 working days from receving the phone!!

I only used the company as i went through Martins comparison tool on recycling mobile phones, if it had not appeared on his tool then i would of not used them & used someone like Love2recycle who ive used before with no probs.

I think Martin seriously needs to look at this company & the amount of bad complaints on here against them, as to letting them appear on his comparison tool.

I too am having problems waiting for my money.
My account status says they sent the payment on 6th December 2009,but still nothing.
No reply to 2 emails either.
Just wish i could get a phone number to get hold of these people.
BEWARE OF THIS SO CALLED COMPANY!!

Any help on this would be great x
