Have I really been to bed and been to sleep? DS1 came in to our bedroom at 11pm twittering on about tax for his new car and I spent him packing.
Another day. Just going to finish the ironing, get a shower, job no. 1 then straight to job no. 2.

First day of holidays deserves a gentle morning I think! Just having a :coffee:. Furries out early, as rain due later, washer on, will have to dry indoors but I can cope with that. Kiddies have decided they are having an hour on digital devices - on the agreement that it is the only time today...
DD and I have a craft afternoon planned while DS is out at lazerzone so that will be nice. Will mooch online for half an hour then go have a shower before shopping is due. Oh, I've just emptied the fridge of 'gone-offs' and wiped out the milk thingy in the door.
No gymnastics tonight but we do have football training later. Might need brollies!Bossymoo

Morning everyone,
Big hugs to Dizzy xx
Everyone's being so busy, and I'm still trying to get started. After a hard day flying yesterday, I came to a standstill yesterday evening. My MAD was going to be sorting out some paperwork, but DH comandeered the laptop, so I decided to spend it trying to re- write my Toots list. Actually I had managed to lose my old one, so started from scratch. That probably didn't put me in the best of moods, as there are sooooo many big projects that need doing along with daily life, it is hard to get going on small ones. So when DH declared that he had no idea that I was going out (booked on calendar for at least a month), and that he would just have to have a sandwich for dinner, I wasn't, let us say, best pleased. Even less so when I got back to a less than sparkly kitchen after spending a lot of the day sorting it out. Grrrrrrrr!!
Deep breath, and today I am taxi for DD. I'm hoping to fit in the grocery shop while hanging around waiting for her, as the parking in town is difficult and extortionate. WM is running as I type, but it will have to hang indoors while we are out, DW will have to run when we get back. LR might get a start made on it before we have to leave.
Catch you all later.0 -
Dizzy Big hugs to you xx

Morning all
Hugs dizzy so sorry to read the sad news about your cat. Sending hugs.
Hope everyone is as well as can be.
Bit tired as a late night for me ds1 was support act for his lovely singing friend 'Wolfe Sunday' we've had Wolfe kip on our settee a few times when he's touring or has a gig out this way. He's getting quite a name now and even got a promoter and a record out so it's lovely seeing his hard work pay off and his talent get recognised. He asked ds1 to support him intown and both got good reviews. So by the time we'd done the pick runs it was a late night.
Ds1 is singing at a festival at demontford hall at the weekend so he's doing well also with is singing sadly we can't go as it clashes with a prebooked birthday treat dd2 planned for me and dd3
Ds2 has been pancaked off to the Y Not festival this morning - he's gone mostly to see frank turner but there looks to be some good acts there so I look forward to his takes when he gets back.
This morning I have a new boiler- it's not plumbed in yet but we are getting there.
Faffing and filling today with little bitty bits to stay out of gasmans way might see if I can clean some upstairs windows as apart from making cuppas for him and me I'm quite redundant.SPC~12 ot 124
In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind0
