Been clearing Ragwort on the Downs today, so no indoor flying done.

Doing the same again tomorrow, so will probably be [strike]collapsed in a heap with a large Gin[/strike] resting tomorrow evening.

Himself is off to Europe tomorrow, so I'll have to clear up the kitchen and wherever he's dropped the various bits of Getting-Ready-To-Leave-On-Tour Detritus, rather than doing anything particularly coherent (not that I'm going to be after a 2nd day on the Downs, either). Weird thing is that, although I'm doing a lot, I'm nowhere near as in pain or exhausted as I am after a day at work. I guess that proves it's a toxic environment I need to be out of ASAP.

Just have to find the money to do it from somewhere, I suppose....[glares at OH]
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    I've done no flying today.

I said goodbye to my darling little black cat after he was hit by a car and the vet said his injuries were too bad.

    Sweet dreams Baggy Boy.

Oodles of (((hugs))) to you Dizzy.
(((Hugs))) also to Natty, atb, dancemum and anyone else having a hard time atm :grouphug:
Bossy, sounds like you all had a lovely start to the hols :j
You will have things straight in no time, mrs-mp!

    Today I have
    - sorted all the data for 50+ charity donation thank-you letters
    - done a long walk with Rosie to the olden barley field
    - baked a SW "carrot cake" which DH likes very much and finished decorating a coffee cake that I had in the freezer
    - cleaned all through downstairs, including cleaning windows and sills in and out
    - did our main meal at lunchtime
    - moved chairs outside into front garden
    - laid DR table
    - dashed to the local shop for strawberries
    - took Rosie for another short walk
    - welcomed about 8 of the Old Wives (who brought lots more cakes) and lots of neighbours and other people from the local church to a fundraiser for Christian Aid, organised tea/coffee/P1mm$ and strawberries and cream, while DH ran his G-gauge railway with James, Emily, Thomas (for the children's pleasure, of course ;)) and an American loco: we made £85 for our nominated charity :D
    - did lots of WUDUPA to keep up with the demand for cups and plates
    - when they all went, brought in the chairs
    - froze much of the leftover cake
    - emptied all the kitchen bins
    - took Rosie for her last walk of the day
    - collapsed onto sofa at 10.00 with a cuppa and promptly fell asleep

Tomorrow we shall do much of the same, but with just the leftover coffee cake and strawberries (and not fundraising), for 6 - 8 people from my placement. Fingers crossed for fine weather again
DH's car has to go in to the garage at 08.30, and I need to visit A1d! on our way home. We have almost run out of fruit and veg
I want to deal with the letters frog in the morning and need to deliver leaflets in the evening.

    See you sometime x

    Aww Dizzy (((hugs)))

Bedroom looking MUCH better, edges of carpet look clean for the first time ever (who knew?) and stuff flung. Still a bit of the heap to sort but far less ominous.

    Sweet dreams all

Bother - meant to empty vac as bin men due tomorrow and we must be first (road we branch off is Wednesday). Am actually appalled that is almost full again - must be my efficient and effective carpet edge hand brushing.

Morning all and hugs to Dizzy

Plan today is to shower, walk dogs, clean gym, do some list and then paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.
