Morning ladies
Tiny is three today...where did that time go? It is also Mudger, our remaining cat (and would've been Baggy's) first birthday.
Stepkids plus DS's GF arrived yesterday, DH has taken today off  and loads planned, so no flying I suspect. A bankrupting visit to Nando's for dinner has been requested.
Sunny - hope the Uni get things sorted ASAP x
Well done Iona (and Mr, obvs) on your charity fundraising!
Still laughing at the reclamation of your table by oil-cloth Jojo. Must try this!
I hope you get more sleep tonight Pollybear - I love old cats, but...
Can't remember anything else - sorry!
Sees y'all later x0 -
Hi all
No idea where the week has gone -haven't read back but hugs and hello where needed.
DS2 has day off so constant cups of tea will be made for me - he just uses every cup in the cupboard, I use the same one all day!
Quick tidy of front room and now breakfast time and will catch up on fred.
Hope all have nice day

Morning all. Nothing to report really and nothing much planned. I have cleaned all the house through the week and it's showers today but dry tomorrow so I'm going to leave the washing until then. I need to cut the grass some time but it's not that long so that might be tomorrow too. We'll see. Feeling rather indecisive of late....0

Morning All
Happy birthday Master Tiny x
Took the car in for its service at 8am, grandma watched the kiddies for me so I didn't have to traipse them into the city. Got two hours paid stuff today but before that I really must get some laundry done and scrub the bath. Just doing a small amount of admin work for DH (it never ends!) and kiddies are laid on the sofa watching TV.
Best get cracking, have great days all xMFW

Morning
Day at home today. Kids have just made paper ice creams so are trying now
To make some sort of stand to sell them from. I've stuck a wash on and cleaned the kitchen tops, moving everything and wiping down the kettle, microwave and coffee machine.
Planning to empty conservatory of piggy stuff and laundry then get outdoors to do some weeding
Happy Birthday Tiny!Bossymoo

On a work day I'd have needed an alarm.
:rotfl::rotfl:
Anyone else thought it read 'a spanking' the first time around? No? Just me then ....
Welcome Cheeky Girrrl!
So sorry to hear about Baggy Dizzy. (((Hugs)))
ATB Mine was so bad I was too embarrassed to call in anyone from outside. I tried everything and nothing worked until I used Ov3n M@te, originally from Kleeneze and now from Lakeland and I swear by it. The first time I had to put it on, leave it for ages, papertowel the gunk off and repeat that process several times but it did eventually come up sparkly. And it doesn't smell! As for the shelves, the OM boxed pack come with bags and different soaking stuff and then I finish them off with Bri11o and hot water. Ours really was vile after years of roasting ducks with fat spluttering everywhere and while it doesn't look like new it is smart enough to fool lodgers into thinking I'm not a complete trollop.
Sunny Girl, (((hugs))) about having to go over the same ground again and again. I think a letter of complaint is in order - you won't be the only person who's had to deal with this idiocy and the decision-makers should be forced to deal with their ridiculously officious expensive stupidity. Every time the organisation has to contact you again about the same issue it's costing tax payers money and we can ill afford it. And that's apart from the pointless and unnecessary distress it's causing you. More (((hugs))).
JoJo, your reclaiming of one tiny part of the house with a tablecloth and flowers is just genius. Love it.
I'm still working my way through Tuesday's kitchen list. I will regain control of it, it's just taking a little more time and energy than I anticipated.Better is good enough.0 -

No weeding yet but conservatory is sparkling and lovely. Had lunch and now sat on camping chair on front drive while kiddies ride bikes.
More laundry out in wind - bright spells too so I expect it will dry before the rain arrives.
DW is on and I just need to mop the kitchen floor later. DR is a crafts explosion plus piles of stuff to sell - to sort next week when I'm home alone.
Not sure what else I'll do this aft. But thank heavens this bug is finally shifting - still sniffy but my head doesn't feel full anymore :TBossymoo
