    Hi all

Tired here. DS1 is in bed feeling ill, nothing specific, just ill. He CANNOT be poorly - he is starting his new job on Monday and we have made a big deal of the fact that his Crohn's doesnt affect him day to day. I did wonder if it's stress/nerves - mind you he doesnt look well.

Have done job no. 1, been for the food shopping, cleaned the fridge (properly), put a load of washing in, put groceries away. On with job no. 2 next.

Something with oven chips for tea. DS1 looks like he wont be eating a lot and DS2 is out with girlfriend.

    Right, more paid stuff.

Been to @ldi and bought 2 packs of Oven pride. One might be for mum, after I have tested it.

Hope Not LW it's grotty xxx

Relaxing afternoon, managed to get washing in before the rain and we stayed quite tidy.

Kids case packed, just to add DD meds and her lippy lol. Oh and their teddies:)

They have just basically eaten all day today I think. Deliberately didn't do a massive shop with them going away but kinda wish I had now lol.

Gosh they've been a nuisance tonight but I'm gonna miss 'em.

    Evening all

As I've said - I've been a long time lurker on this page and v jealous of all the domestic goddesses here. I've now done 4 in a row of Level 1, baby steps and no where near getting organised

I won't be able to make the required dent tomorrow in the spare room but will have a blurry good go

Thanks all for inspiring me :A
Welcome to the thread and remember to take baby steps. It didn't get cluttered in a week and it'll take more than a week to sort out. I always think that if it looks better than it did this time last week/I've done more than I did last week then it's an improvement. Be kind to yourself and pat yourself on the back for doing level 1 each day :T

Sunny - hope the Uni get things sorted ASAP x

    Sees y'all later x
Thank you I hope so too it's not the uni it's bloody student finance England. We had similar last year sadly. It's extra annoying as I'm a full time uni student and my student finance went through without an issue. His is based on my earnings so I don't get how difficult it is!!

Anyone else thought it read 'a spanking' the first time around? No? Just me then ....

Sunny Girl, (((hugs))) about having to go over the same ground again and again. I think a letter of complaint is in order - you won't be the only person who's had to deal with this idiocy and the decision-makers should be forced to deal with their ridiculously officious expensive stupidity. Every time the organisation has to contact you again about the same issue it's costing tax payers money and we can ill afford it. And that's apart from the pointless and unnecessary distress it's causing you. More (((hugs))).

    .
I read 'spanking' too so it's not just your mind :rotfl: Thank you for your lovely words xx

Good evening lovely ladies. A busy day today taking my Dad for a post op check after his cataract surgery 2 weeks ago. Not brill news as it turns out that the drops he's been faithfully using have caused an allergic reaction and burned and blistered his eye. More drops and 4-6 weeks healing time before his vision is better. I am the chauffeur in the meantime for him and my Mum.

No list today as both my spare rooms are currently full of my daughter and her partners stuff as they've sold their house and moved in with his Mum until they find another. She did say that she valued our good relationship far too much to muck it up moving in here so I didn't mind too much :D I have done 2 wash loads and put it to dry, unpacked and put away an online Sainsbury's delivery and made my lunches for work for tomorrow and Sunday. And I DID MY IRONING AND THE BASKET IS NOW EMPTY :T:T Can you tell I'm pleased with myself haha.

Thank you for a great first week ladies and I'm looking forward to keeping going. You're all stars xxx
