Oh Lyn lots of positive wishes and vibes heading the way of dear Orley, will light candle just for him tonight, hugs to you all xxx0

Oh Lyn. I'm so sorry that Orley is having difficulties with his chest. Ruthie is the best qualified in terms of knowledge and mummy skills when Orley is discharged. You're there to help help Ruthie concentrate on a poorly boy which will ease the stress. Zebra will feel warm and secure if you do need to go to him and Lyn, for you, I know just how quickly IV antibiotics turns things around. He would have had a couple of doses already so today his little body will already be much better than yesterday. The pain and discomfort of breathing will improve hour by hour. You must be beside yourself. You're all in my thoughts. x0

Just had a picture through of a smiling baby and Ru's comment 'Still gross but now smiling and happier!' they will be in hospital until Tuesday at the earliest and Opa will drive up to get them and take them back home when they are discharged. If the nursery can accommodate the Zebra child for a few extra days this week then they won't need me and Neil's parents can cover Tuesday if needs be so I'll wait to see what happens. Much less worried now that I've seen him sitting up and grinning his cheeky little grin but will be mightily relieved when I know he's mended! sending all my strength to his mum at the moment as I suspect she needs it and I love her to distraction, specially when she needs hugging!0

DD sent a lovely photo of Orley sitting up on a blanket on the floor playing with a miscellaneous assortment of spoons, paper cups, bowls etc. improvised toys that were certainly keeping him happy. He's feeling much better this evening thank goodness, long may it continue to be so xxx.
Thanks for all your good wishes, they certainly seem to be doing the trick xxx.0 -

They are staying with friends near London for the weekend and he was poorly yesterday and it got worse in the evening so they took him to A & E with bronchiolitis and a rash on his lower limbs poor lammie! Ru obviously concerned as are we but he's definitely in the right place and will get the treatment he needs. It might be a bit of a fragmented week as we will possibly have to split and I will go and Zebra sit while he Who Knows goes to get the baby and his Mum and bring them home. If I go missing it's because of that and I'll be back when it's all over and sorted, good vibes to Orley please if you can? Thanks xxx.
Oh poor Orley sending my best wishes xx0 -
Will be back later but sending big hugs and positive thoughts to Orly.:)0

Orley is being the perfect patient - keeping occupied so as not to go doolally. I have to say he's better at it than I. Great news.
DH was fishing today. My girls were at their grans. There was only one thing for me and that was 3 hours on my allotment.I needed it and the the plot needed it. Before you tell me off I had 4 layers on and a big scarf. I didn't do anything too strenuous. I had my phone and plenty to drink plus there were people on the plots if I needed help. I hope I behaved responsibly.:o:p:D
I was thrilled to see my garlic and onions had took hold.0 -
Well done girlie, three hours out in the fresh air, sensibly dressed and doing enough but not too much is the best possible route back to better health, good use of three hours of your life!
Not heard from Ru yet today but I know she had a camp bed in Orley's room so I'm hoping that she actually managed some sleep last night. I hope the littlest chappie is much improved today too. Dad took Zebra home in the car yesterday as he's at nursery on Mondays and Opa will drive up to collect Ru and the baby tomorrow if they are discharged and take them back home. Nell had a really good day yesterday with the history trip to Berlin and despite a harrowing visit to a concentration camp which apparently the young folks were much affected by (I've been there with Nell and cried buckets) they also did some interesting museums and ended the day a fab meal at a Brauhaus having loved the East Side Gallery visit where the 'wall' is still standing for over a kilometre and has murals painted by various artists all along it's length.
Nothing specific planned here today but I suspect it will involve more sorting and shedding, have to say the bedrooms are looking much better for having less in them and the kitchen is gradually getting there too, can only be good no?0
