Softstuff I had a job where I was being paid less than those with less experience sat alongside me doing the same job. In the end I gave them an ultimatum, they didn't match my pay so I handed my notice in. Best thing that ever happened to me. Walked almost immediately into another job which gave me the skills a few years later to start my own business where I earn multiples of what I did in the job where they wouldn't give me an extra £500.
Sometimes it isn't worth the fight. I fought and fought but was much happier and valued more in my next job. And now I work for myself so I set my own paygrade!
With regards printers, I used to know somebody who worked in a stationery suppliers. He said there was the equivalent of about a teaspoon of ink in the average cartridge which is why they are so expensive (more expensive than gold he reckoned!). The cartridges which come with new printers only have absolutely tiny amount in which is why it can be cheaper to buy a new printer than the cartridges.
If you do a lot of printing, you'd be better off investing in a laserjet.
I gave up printing colour a couple of years ago and bought a mono laserjet for the business and really haven't missed the colours.Make £2025 in 2025

Hester Ouchhh x hope your both okay x
Would like to ask those of you of a more Spiritual background some advice.
We have friends that have bought a parcel of land to save it being built on and are having a little get together this weekend, is there something I could buy/make etc to give the land a blessing and help protect it? I know they would appreciate thatNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

There is something called "smudging" which involves burning a handful of fresh herbs but I don't know that much about it. Maybe ask mardatha?0 -

Have found a nice little ritual in The Real Witches Garden by Kate West, but whether it is appropriate will obviously depend on your friends spiritual leanings. Basically you form together a small bundle of twigs and take some sweet white wine or apple juice, together with a white candle in a wind proof container that you can carry without burning your fingers.
Light the candle and make a blessing on the wine;
Pour forth your blessings into this wine, that it may be a symbol of your love for the land and all who live upon it, and also a token of the care I commit myself to giving to all that lives and grows here. Blessed Be.
Everyone takes a sip and then walk the boundary of the land, sprinkling a little wine with the twigs and visualising new green shoots springing up wherever you walk. Take the candle with you and the let it burn down safely.

Lainey - would an led candle work, I am worried about flames and 30 degrees of heat or maybe, if you would be okay with it, I could make them a 'kit' to do the ceremony themselves, when they are ready.
I am also going to buy them a Hazel 'whip' for their new creative journey as recommended by Witless
Appreciate the help all - love this group xNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Hedgewitches are nothing if not practical so if an LED candle is safer please go with that although there is something about a living flame.....the Hazel whip sounds a great idea as does the preparation of a ‘blessing’ kit0
